"I can't say enough good things about JC Concrete, they did a fabulous job on our sidewalk replacement job. Demolition and cleanup both done expertly and in one day. Site prep and permit inspection done the next day. Poured and finished on day three. Everything was top quality. I would definitely use JC Concrete again."

"Contractors did a great job. Arrived later than expected on days 2 & 3 but work was completed according to agreement. Priced competitively with other firms bids. We needed a licensed & insured contractor due to size of tree and location near electrical lines and they met our requirements."

"Very professional, easy to get along with.  Brisio Garcia (owner) and his employee start their day early and on time.   Brisio never asked for any money upfront and on the third day we insisted that he take a partial payment as he was incurring many expenses for tractor, rebar, concrete, etc.
Brisio was very helpful in design and color selection.  We weren't sure about the stamping and color so he sent us down the street to another job of his that he had recently finished.  This helped to visualize the color and pattern.  He also provided us with a color chart to help with the selection.
At the end of every day they would sweep, hose down, and clean up the entire area.  Their tools and equipment were always organized and put away at the end of the day.  Never had a big mess to stare at.
Would definitely hire again for any future job."

"Got some work done at my house. Was happy that they were able to do the work around my busy schedule. Also, it’s hard to find someone you can trust, usually you get quoted one thing then get a bunch of surprise charges and you end up paying an arm and a leg. They sent me a quote for the job. They charged me exactly what was quoted. Definitely recommend!"

Concrete Cutting questions, answered by experts

To maintain custom or fabricated metal structures and extend their lifespan and appearance, perform regular cleaning, apply rust prevention treatments, and use protective coatings.

Cutting round ductwork requires precision and the right tools. A duct cutter, specifically designed for circular ducts, is ideal. First, mark the cutting line on the duct using a measuring tape and pencil. Then, position the duct cutter's blade on the marked line. Apply steady pressure, rotating the cutter around the duct. The sharp blade creates a clean, precise cut. Alternatively, a reciprocating saw with a metal-cutting blade can be used for larger round ducts. Ensure the duct is securely held in place while making the cut to prevent slips and maintain accuracy.

This all depends on the tools you have on hand and whether you’re trying to cut a straight line or shapes.

The best tool to use for straight lines is either a circular saw or table saw. When cutting shapes, a jigsaw will be the easiest and most precise tool to use.

Yes, you can use a saw to cut metal pipes. The best saw to use is a reciprocating saw, but even a fine-tooth hacksaw can get the job done. No matter which saw you use to cut metal pipes, wear protective gear, like work gloves, safety goggles, and ear plugs. Apply a firm, steady pressure to the tool, and always ensure the pipes are secured so they don't move while you make the cuts.

Yes, you can cut up a box spring., but you’ll need to do so in layers. You can clear the fabric and fluff away to reveal the springs before removing them as well.
