"David and his assistant fixed 3 holes in a second story deck then applied a metal lath and troweled on a layer of deckcretethe first day. 2nd day applied a fiberglass mat and saturated with laminating resins. David then shot a layer of knockdown texture to the deck and finally applied a resin sealer finish coat over the deck. The deck need 24 hours drying and 3 day wait before placing items on the deck. The whole project went nicely and the new deck looks great and should need a sealing in 5 years."

"Sharon and Ed came out. They were very professional, measured and gave us options. Within a couple of days, we had a bid broken down by components. As we gathered other bids, no one was like OC Decks in professionalism. We were so glad that we went with them. They communicated with us throughout the process. We never had to guess what was going to happen. The guys showed up early and worked all day. The only delay was for the timber tech due to back log at the port. They went over and beyond to make our deck spectacular. I have never had such a pleasant experience with a remodel. "Foothill Painting was very professional in responding to our original inquiry, we arranged a visit to obtain an estimate, and Joe came out, as scheduled, to size up the job.  Joe was very helpful in answering our questions and providing his opinions/advice as appropriate.  We received a formal estimate shortly thereafter in the mail and via email.  We had Joe come out one more time to ask him a few more questions since, at that point, we had narrowed down the remaining bids and, based on the discussions with various painting contractors, had additional concerns to sort out. The end result of the meeting with Joe was awarding Foothill Painting the job.

We decided on the colors, with some help from Joe, and scheduled the job. The painters (two of them) arrived as scheduled and worked on the project for the next 3-4 days, prepping first, then priming, then painting.  The stucco on our home had never been painted and it is a very rough finish, so much effort was required to insure that all surfaces were fully painted.  Joe would come by every morning to insure that all necessary supplies were on hand, to provide any directions for the day, and to address any questions, concerns, issues that might come up. The painters would pick up after themselves at the end of every day.

The one area for improvement, from our experience, would be a little more attention to prep work, as it relates to holes and rough surfaces (needing filling and sanding before priming), particular on the wood surfaces.  Joe's help in getting the small issues that surfaced resolved in a timely manner was much appreciated. He was a good listener and did his best to make us happy!

The staff in the office was professional, friendly and efficient throughout our entire experience with Foothill Painting. This was true from our original call, through scheduling visits, providing estimates, sending out invoices, and ending the process with a Thank You card for our business.  Well done!!

"Steve and his entire crew are all very professional, hardworking, detail oriented and they produce very high quality work. "Granted, the work isn't completely finished, but I wanted to update my review to post how impressed I am. Danny Gold and his crew just completed the tile install phase. They did an extremely complex "wood" tile pattern which looks beautiful in photos and EVEN better in reality. In addition, the bulk of the work and hassles and noise was done remotely while I was out of town. Luis was great an explaining things and even though I wasn't there, I felt everything would be handled with the utmost care and attention to details. Talk about trustworthy!!! Such a gift in a contractor. The tile work cost me a bit more than I expected, but the work was well worth it. They are handling all the extremely annoying inspections (City of Santa Monica slows everything so much!) My shower glass guy was super impressed with the precision of the bathroom. "Like laser crafted" In all, HIGHLY recommend their work!!"
