Construction MastersI RARELY write reviews, but I want to explain why I am so BLESSED to have found Construction Masters! I was put in charge of helping my family remodel their home in Encino. There were many things that needed to be done: installing new tile, repairing gates and doors; restoring original bannisters, dry rot, kitchen and 2-bathroom remodels - some major things but also all the odds and ends. The quality of the work, attention to detail, the range of technical expertise was above and beyond. The workers were hard working, efficient, and highly professional, often going above and beyond to give the little extra care to the home. Throughout the whole project it was ***easy to communicate****, easy to schedule, timelines and options were clear. I could be at work and know that everything would take care of everything for me. Preferred Home Builders IncPreferred Home Builders are amazing and deserve every great review you see on here. Our project was to convert a detached garage into a guest house on one side and a multipurpose room on the other. We received bids from multiple contractors but Omri won us over for several reasons. He was extremely patient during the planning process which ultimately took several months before we broke ground. This was because everything was being built to code and we need to replace the existing garage with a carport. We had a difficult piece of land to work with but Omri and his engineers came up with a brilliant way to design a carport that could be used as a patio. The design and and dual use of the carport requirement worked perfectly for our needs. Additionally we are adjacent to the LA Metro Orange Line and needed extensive permitting and blueprint design specifications to satisfy the city, DWP, and MTA. The team at Preferred Home builders were amazing at navigating all the different departments. With regards to the construction process, my wife and I could not be happier. We have done several renovations and even had a house built but never in all our experiences have we worked with a better Contractor and team. Michelle, the project coordinator was brilliant. She was aways accessible and kept us up to date with everything all along the way. We received a weekly calendar of work to be done each day. To or amazement, the foreman and his crew were right on track, working everyday, even Saturdays if they need to catch up a day. The foreman and his crew were fantastic. Like I said before, we have had a lot of experiences with contractors, many of them becoming nightmares - going over budget, starting projects and then disappearing, inexperienced workers, and just plain lousy work. Not with Preferred. Doron and his crew were here everyday. And as a side note, it was the same crew everyday, not a revolving door of random workers. The same team built the project from start to finish. The electrical and plumbing contractors used were top notch. They didn't take any shortcuts. Everything was done to the highest quality with amazing attention to detail. The finishing and workmanship was fantastic. As in all construction there were a couple of times where we need to make changes to the existing plans - we decided we wanted a tankless water heater instead of running hot water from the main tank - but PHB were very accommodating and negotiated extremely fair prices for the changes. We also wanted very specific soundproofing technologies worked into the utility room such as a raised floor floating walls and ceiling, green glue applications and a lot more, all of which were factored into the original price from the beginning and PHB stuck to the agree on price even when it clearly became much more work than anticipated. In the end we could not be happier with the completed project. Omri and PHB is the best contractor we have ever worked with hands down. Omri was there for us from the beginning of the project thru to the end. He treated it as if it was his own. Any questions or concerns, Omri was available by text or phone and would come by to personally inspect things. I realise this is a long review, but I can not stress enough how good PHB are. The money and frustration you save by working with one construction company that handles the entire project pays for itself. PHB are conscientious, professional and most of all have integrity.- Sara F.

Bobby Mohseni and his staff at Elegant Home Improvement are ALL phenomenal. He gutted our home in Laguna Woods and he rebuild a classic show piece. Our home is so elegant (as the company namesake) we just want to look at it as a perfect model. Bobby is an amazing professional he's extremely knowledgeable, all his suggestions were outstanding. Ori at Eco Design Pro delivered far more than an excellent remodel, he and his team helped us to recover from what every homeowner fears - the incompetent work of a terrible former contractor. You’ve all heard the horror stories, but we lived through one - after 5 months with our previous contractor, we were left with room after room of half-finished disasters and poor workmanship, giving us no choice but to terminate him. Enter our hero, Eco Design Pro - from the initial contact to our first walkthrough of our home, Ori was present, professional, and mindful of details. He was looking at the type of job that few contractors want to handle - fixing someone else’s poor workmanship. While others had backed away from the job, or scared us with their over-estimations of work needed, Ori came to the table with solutions in mind and a calmness. After discussing details, and doing another walkthrough with his foreman, he presented a great bid that was in-line with others we had received. We chose him because of great communication (always quick responses to emails or phone calls) and knowing that he was the owner of the company and seemed to make personal commitments to his jobs. We soon learned that he would be absolutely dedicated to our project throughout. As we learned (in a bad way) before, contractors are only as good as their foremen - and Ori’s foreman was great - respectful, skilled & competent, and on-time every single day. Although Ori is not on-site every day, he would visit at least twice a week to check-in, was always talking to his men at the job site, and was always available - just a text away with any questions. To give you an example of the issues our previous, inept contractor left - he had installed our brand new (not cheap) mosaic floor tile in our bathroom and had put down thin plywood as a sub floor. A month later, all the grout began cracking and the tiles were loose! This was one of about 50 things he botched. Ori and Eco Design Pro held our hands as we faced and uncovered these discoveries/horrors - like having to re-buy all new tile to re-install in two bathrooms. The whole time they did a great job of sticking to their bid, even when some unexpected things arose. Of course, like all home improvements on old houses, issues arise that are beyond the scope of the original bid - you need to expect this. Whenever these came up, we were immediately informed and discussed a solution and price. This was infrequent, and never did we feel like any of these items were out-of-the-blue or unreasonable. When doing work like this, things can change and it is important to be partnering with a contractor who can work with you, and fully understands the process. For example, part of our original bid was to replace our fireplace surround tile and mantle. During the job, we learned that our fireplace needed $12k of work and full replacement to function - this was beyond our budget. We discussed with Ori, and we quickly re-applied those funds to a roofing issue that had arisen during the project. No arguments, no eye rolls, no resistance - just solutions. The Eco Design Pro team worked at a brisk pace, but never overlooked details. They did an excellent job of staying on schedule and only deviated once when a closet door we needed was on backorder - but they came right back and set a date when it arrived. Ori and the Eco Design Pro team offer something beyond great workmanship to their customers, they offer TRUST - and anyone who has done any major home repairs will tell you, that is a rare quality in this industry.
