"I had a terrible experience with PHD, LLC plumbing service. I called them when I had an on-demand water heater that was not working. They could not figure out the problem! After 3 visits and $ 950 of charges we discovered it was merely a propane gas supply line was undersized, which I tried to suggest to them initially! Likely a $ 250 fix at most! I cannot recommend this business. They are unqualified to do the job. They are unprofessional, incompetent, and arrogantly rude!!!"

Some good news is that if you ever sell or refinance your home, you can often recoup the cost of a garage install. 

A garage bump-out is a small addition that extends the size of the garage, usually by just a few feet. Homeowners might install bump-outs to store lawn equipment, sporting gear, holiday decorations, and more. Because you’re not changing the existing garage structure as much, a bump-out isn’t as expensive or labor intensive as a full-blown garage extension. Expect to pay around $1,800–$6,000 for 2-by-10-foot bump-out (and more for larger additions).

Make sure you’re getting the right size to meet your space needs, including enough space both side to side and vertically to accommodate your RV’s features and allow you to safely move it in and out of the garage.

We recommend plywood and solid wood. Particleboard and MDF (medium-density fiberboard) are often too weak to hold significant loads, and could sag or deform under pressure. Plywood or solid wood are meant to last, and can handle the weight of several large items. If you want to spend a little more for a moisture-resistant material, you can consider using steel.
