"Of the three people I tried contacting in the "Handyman" group, Jason is the only one who responded, I'd emailed him my inquiry at 7:30pm and by 8am the next morning I had a reply, with an estimated price for the service.
Scheduling of the faucet installation was dependent on other work being done in the kitchen by a tile specialist - the tile had to sit for 24 hours before the faucet could be installed. I knew only by Tuesday evening that the tile would be done on that Friday, so I emailed Jason, notifying him of the situation, and asking him if he ever works on Saturdays. He graciously replied that he would make an exception and do it on Saturday for the same price quoted. What a relief it was, because that Sunday we needed to do a lot of cooking in preparation for Thanksgiving!
Jason was super-punctual, professional, clean and efficient, and I would recommend him highly.
P.S. the only reason that I'm not doing the "Our Block" sharing, is because I don't spend much time on the internet.
