- Straight Line ConstructionThe sales person was prompt in answering our request for a bid (providing us with a variety of choices and low pressure), prompt in providing a bid and the bid was very competitive. Straight Line provided a number of sites that they had installed new roofing so that we could visualize the colors and the quality of their work. We contacted 5 of those that had work done and no one expressed any reservations or problems. The old roof was removed in one day and the new roof installed in only 2 days with the siding and windows installed timely basis and minimizing disruption of our home routine. A supervisor was on site everyday insuring that the project was progressing and the plans being followed. After the work was done they did a thorough job of cleaning up inside and outside our home. There were only a couple of minor problems (as there always are on a large project) after the work was done and Dan was quick to respond and correct them. One of the main reasons that we chose Straight Line Roofing was we wanted a company that would be here for years to come and be there to stand behind their product. They were very helpful with guiding us in selecting from all the options available. We were pleased enough that we asked about residing our house. They again were great to work with and offered a fair price for the work, and helped with all the decisions. They did the entire house, which is some areas is actually three stories high. They were able to offer a great deal on new windows since they had everything off the exterior of the house and the windows were easy (relatively) to replace. We liked them enough to also hire them on to build us a covered porch. I am THRILLED with these completed projects! I dread any kind of remodeling, but these guys were again friendly and professional, easy to work with, and did a great job. The work is top notch and was fairly priced. I'd definitely recommend them to friends and family and I'd definitely hire them again

The deck work was completed by a subcontractor, but was reviewed by Scott on a daily basis. The work was done quickly and the crew was professional and friendly. The high deck on our house was finished within 10 days and Scott was present to ensure that the inspection was completed. The price for the deck was very competitive, compared to estimates we received from other contractors. The price for the dry rot repairs was not reasonable, it was equal to the amount given by our pest inspector which was known to be overpriced. (We didn't know that Thrasher had a copy of his estimate, and just matched it until after the repairs were completed.) I was happy with the work, the price and time of the repairs. I would definitely use Thrasher Construction again for major house repairs / remodel

He stayed within the estimate plus a small additional charge for dealing with an ant problem under the house. I was very worried about continued leaking around the windows which had been plagueing me for a number of years. Lou explained water managment and explained how he was going to deal with this problem. He replaced the entire siding on the east wall of the house. He said the established windows did not need replacing. He replaced some of the flashing and some of the Tyvek underguard paper. He placed new trim around the windows and painted the entire east siding. He kept in contact with me and always explained what he was doing. The project was done very quickly. He worked hard and wasted no time. He appeared when he said he would, and he cleaned the place immacutely when he left. I could talk easily with Lou, felt that I could ask him anything, and came to trust what he said. I am 79 years old and have had some problems hiring construction workers. I would recommend Lou to anyone. He does all kinds of construction
