"On Saturday, July 20th I logged into the website for Wire Tech Electric and requested someone come out to my house to give me a quote to add a Level 2 electric vehicle charging station into my garage for my new Chevy Bolt. I received an email back from Olvin Rivera later that evening and we arranged to meet on Wednesday afternoon (July 24th) for the free quote for the installation. Olvin texted me prior to the scheduled time to let me know he was on his way. I already knew that my existing 220-amp breaker panel was full and after he arrived we discussed adding a subpanel into the garage to contain the 40-amp breaker for the 240-VAC level 2 charging station. Across the board, Olvinâ s prices for the work and materials was better than the prices listed for Amazonâ s professional installation for any of their level 2 chargers. He emailed me a copy of the quote and I decided to go with his team. This morning Olvin texted me prior to his scheduled time to inform me that he was heading over to do the install. He and a helper came out to the house and extended the main breaker panel into the garage and added the subpanel, 6-gauge wire (rather than the smaller 8-gauge wire that was minimally required) and terminated everything to a NEMA 14-30 outlet. Everything was professionally installed, the breakers were tested and frankly it really looked like it belonged there. Ten minutes after they left UPS delivered the TurboDX charger that I had ordered. Unfortunately, the TurboDX charger required direct connection to the power source rather than through the NEMA plug. Luckily, Olvin Rivera from Wire Tech Electric was able to return where upon he removed the NEMA plug and modified the wall connection to allow the power to be connected directly to the charger. The TurboDX charger was a problem from the get-go as although the charger came in a nice aluminum casing, the casing needed to be drilled out to allow the electrical feed to enter from the back into the housing. Olvin had the necessary tools to get the casing drilled out and inserted a plastic knockout bushing to protect the wiring through the hole. Then he leveled and attached the charger to the wall and connected the power directly to the charger. He also called the tech support hotline for the TurboDX charger to ensure everything had been properly connected (the installation instructions for the TurboDX charger were a little too basic for what we were doing.) Everything worked and the vehicle charged the last 60 miles until full charge in just under 2 hours. I really liked the way Wire Tech Electric kept in contact with me throughout the process from answering my request for a quote, then sending me the full quote after we discussed the work to be done, the text messages prior to arrival to let me know to expect them and their promptness to arrive within the designated appointment time. I found Olvin and his helper (whose name I have forgotten) to be very professional and courteous and the work was first rate. I will definitely keep them in mind for any future electrical contract work."

"We hired proper power electric to update lighting and switches in our home. Forest and foster showed up on time. They were professional and in sync with each other. We added recessed lighting, fan ,and outdoor lights to our new home. Forest made suggestion to add another switch down the hallway to make it easier to turn off lights when going to the room. Both were knowledgeable, helpful and very friendly. They even helped my neighbor with their solar panel system. We had a great experience and will definitely hire again."

"We submitted a service request through our AHS home warranty and were assigned to Budget Electric. It was after work hours. It affected our fridge and stove, so AHS put it as expedite/emergency. The next morning we were contacted by BE, and they found us a canceled appointment time for the following morning. In the meantime, I searched BE for reviews and saw quite a few negative reviews, leaving me nervous for our appointment. Based on the service we received, I don't know how they have bad reviews. The women answering my phone calls were very understanding and patient with may many phone calls. Michelle and another woman handled all my questions and concerns. There were a couple of times I wasn't able to reach them, but I'm assuming they were handling other calls or were at a unch break. Although it was an hour outside of our service window, we had an electrician show up soon after. With the storms, I think they're busy and sometimes run a little behind. Michael was the best and completely blew away all concerns as soon as he arrived. He was courteous and positive the entire time. He asked permission for coming inside, opening doors, going into rooms, etc. He patiently explained everything he did. He wasn't annoyed by curiosity or my questions. He was thorough and had diagnosed our problem in less than 5 minutes. Although it ended up being an issue for PG&E to fix, Michael double-checked the circuit breaker and boxes. He replaced a faulty fuse box to ensure no additional issues. After our service was complete, I shared our initial concerns based on previous reviews. Michael was still positive and genuinely courteous. He had positive things to say about Miguel and Abraham as well. He explained they have a high volume of service calls. He didn't make excuses. Without dismissing the other reviews, he said that with the volume of calls they do, there are probably some negative reviews. Although I don't typically leave reviews, I felt it was only fair to give an honest review after reading the negative reviews. Thanks to BE and Michael for service above and beyond!"
