"I shopped around with other window and stucco/paint contractors before I chose Approved Contractor. Justin gave me a very detailed quote and worked with me to help me decide and define exactly what I wanted. He convinced me to go with the elastomeric coating over doing a re-stucco job because of its benefits of heat reflection, waterproofing, and it was basically the same price when you include the painting of all the eaves and trim on the house. I received a very fair price for each of the items and services, so decided to go with him for my entire home improvement project. Everything went quite smoothly despite delays of materials from suppliers due to COVID. Justin kept me informed as to progress of the manufacture and delivery of the windows, and was very responsive to my questions. The subcontractors he used to perform the work were all very skilled and professional. There were quite a few different people involved because of all the different things I was having done, so it got confusing at times when someone came to the door to do the day's work. In all, it took about 1 week to install 25 windows on my 2 story house (including sliding glass door), and 1 week to do the prep and paint/coating work. A few thousand $ in extra, unexpected expenses popped up, like replacing some dry-rot wood, extra stucco work around my new front door, and extra tiles for the new roof area, but Justin offered most of those additions to the contract at cost. I also know that there are often unexpected things that happen with new construction or reconstruction that cannot be seen and bid on beforehand, so I didn't feel like I was being taken to the cleaners with the extra costs. My house looks beautiful now, and I feel I made a very good investment, and a very good decision to go with Approved Contractor, Inc."

They returned phone calls immediately, gave us a very competitive quote, provided references and even helped to choose the perfect color combination. Once the work commenced, they removed the gutters, pressure washed the whole house, made repairs to the stucco in various areas, painted all exterior, wood trim, patio cover, front doors, side doors, and metal garage doors. They even went as far as removing the exterior light fixtures, and re-installing them when the work was complete. It took them a complete week to do the job. They were on-time every morning and were meticulous about masking everything, and not getting over-spray or spilling paint on anything. The house looks great, and I will definitely use them again. "Nothing but a wonderful experience! We had just purchased our house and Nir came over and and provided us with a detailed, explained and professional estimate for the exterior paint job that we wanted which we wanted to do right after we moved in. With the quick turnaround and very reasonable pricing… we signed the agreement and gave him the approval to start. His crew arrived early to our house and started the work. They professionally prepped the walls at the house, fixed many stucco parts on the walls that needed to be fixed and continued to work even after the regular working hours in order to stay on time with the completion date. The painting job was done a lot nicer that we imagined and we could not be happier with the final results. They are a truly professional team and it was a pleasure to do business with them."

"Crew was very professional and showed up on time. They were efficient and worked hard. Unfortunately, the end result was as follows: Pressure washing - They didn't cover anything. Paint chips were everywhere and even in my air conditioning unit. I'm still sweeping and shop vacuuming huge piles of them two weeks later. They returned to clean-up, but I'm still finding myself cleaning. They kept saying my lawn mower should pick it up. Photos attached. Patio Cover - They sprayed two coats of paint, but entire sections were missed. Some sections were very very lightly coated. They had to come back out for two hours to re-roll. I appreciated that they came back out but VERY disappointed that I had to go up on roof, inspect myself to get them to come out to resolve. What if I hadn't? Overspray got all over our trash cans, bushes, bbq cover, outdoor storage shed and roof. Photos attached. The shingles on the roof can't be cleaned -- power washing will remove granules and damage them, so we're stuck living with that. Stucco - Spots had to be re-repaired after I noticed that areas were missed. I had to paint the stucco myself since they were quick and missed painting sections. Front door - Front door looked good and they were flexible as we decided colors. OTHER - I asked for Dunn Edwards. They used high quality paint on front door (Evershield) use my own supplied paint for stucco and then used Spartashield for the patio cover. Normally the painters I use ask me what type of paint. I would have preferred Everyshield for the patio cover, but Spartashield is still decent. Overall, they were nice and punctual (things many contractors lack), but the quality of the work was average / below average because of the issues I described. All these painting companies sub everything out. They may have a general group of subs they use that are preferred, but in the end, it's really luck of the draw with who you get. They're all hurrying to move from one job to the next as fast as they can, so quality sometimes suffers as a result."

"Project: Repair and partially replace stucco surface of small retaining wall. Phil met with me and we discussed how to treat a short retaining wall that was losing the stucco surface after about 4 years since it was originally plastered. The wall was alowing water seepage to come thru the concrete block and lifting the original stucco finish off. Phil suggested a repair , consisting of first scraping all loose stucco off the wall and then applying an adhesive type undercoat followed by a total restucco of the wall. It was done very professionally , minimal debris, 2-day process , and it looks great. Now I just have to see how it holds up over the next 4-5 years . Highly recommend PG Plastering."
