"Dan Rynberk did an outstanding job removing two layers of vinyl wallpaper, preparing and painting the walls, and also in painting the exterior house trim. He is extremely professional, very patient, always on time, and very pleasant to work with. His work is great and I have received compliments from family and friends on the finished appearance. Thank you very much for a job well done."
"It went very well. I contacted him initially in late November. He was busy and so was I so we scheduled the work for 12/28. That day he called early to tell me he would be a little late. He arrived and went right to work. He tore off our old wallpaper and removed the under layer. Then he applied a coat of plaster to the entire wall. He applied it very smoothly so there was no waste and little sanding needed. He had us put a heater and fan blowing on the wall to dry it thoroughly. He came back the next day and sanded the wall. That only took about an hour. He was thorough, quick and efficient. I was happy with the work and would definitely recommend him to others. "

"Alejandro and his crew were the best! they responded quickly and made an appointment immediately. They came out twice for different estimates because I kept adding things to the request. I have 4 rooms with LOTS of wallpaper, even wallpaper on the ceiling (who does that?) and they removed it all in one day! I have made an appointment for him to come back after the walls are textured to paint. His prices are very reasonable. It has been a pleasure working with him and the whole company."

Common mistakes when finishing basement walls include neglecting proper insulation, insufficient moisture management, and poor ventilation. Not addressing these issues can lead to mold growth, water damage, and discomfort. Additionally, inadequate planning, improper framing, and rushing the project can result in subpar outcomes.
It's essential to follow best practices, seek professional guidance if needed, and prioritize thoroughness and attention to detail.
If you can already see the texture of the existing wallpaper through the layer of paint, then the texture could also come through the new layer of wallpaper. If that’s the aesthetic you want, then proceed. But if you want a smoother surface, you should either strip off the existing paint and wallpaper or hang a layer of liner paper before proceeding.
To pair a unique sense of style with white walls, keep them well-decorated. Hang vibrant art or bold furniture to add color to the room. Add some texture and greenery to the space with plants. Choose accent pieces such as throw pillows or light fixtures with patterns. Having a white wall can be a plus as it allows homeowners to easily decorate their homes as they desire without worrying about clashing with the paint color.
