"Garafano Electric has being taking care of all the electrical needs and upgrades in our 90 plus year old house for a few years now. They always do A+ work. We're currently in the middle of some home renovations and they've been willing and able to work with our erratic schedule. Honest, dependable, and great at what they do. Can't recommend them high enough!"

"Had an electrician out to give me an estimate on replacing my electrical panel. Decided against replacing it because that wouldn't have solved my issue. My house was built in the 60's so it needs all new wiring. I just had him show me which outlets were on each of the channels so that I could spread out my devices that needed a lot of power, specifically my space heaters."

Electrical questions, answered by experts

You can safely reset GFCI outlets, check your breaker panel for tripped switches, and replace blown fuses in older Rancho Cucamonga homes. Test smoke detectors monthly to stay compliant with local safety codes. Keep the area around your electrical panel clear and ensure it’s secure against earthquakes. For any panel upgrades, wiring near pools, or persistent issues, contact a licensed electrical contractor.

Helpful?

In Rancho Cucamonga, if you notice flickering lights during windy days, circuit breakers that trip repeatedly, or outlets that feel unusually warm, it’s time to call an electrical contractor. Persistent electrical issues in older homes often signal outdated wiring. If the entire neighborhood loses power, it’s likely a utility issue. Water near outlets may require both electrical and plumbing attention for safety.

Helpful?

Schedule electrical projects in Rancho Cucamonga if your home was built before the 1990s, you’re adding major appliances, or planning upgrades like solar panels or EV charging. Spring is ideal for preparing your system before summer heat. After strong winds, check for visible damage. Frequent outages, insurance requests, or upcoming real estate inspections are also clear signs to consult an electrical contractor.

Helpful?

Upgrading your electrical system in Rancho Cucamonga enhances comfort by supporting high-demand appliances like air conditioning, which is essential during hot summers. Adding surge protection helps safeguard electronics from power fluctuations common during wind events. Modern electrical projects also enable smart home features and reliable home office setups, while weatherproof outdoor outlets extend your living space for year-round backyard enjoyment.

Helpful?

New homeowners in Rancho Cucamonga should start with a professional electrical panel inspection and install GFCI outlets to meet local safety standards. Upgrading to hardwired smoke detectors and adding whole-house surge protection are smart moves. Weatherproof outdoor outlets support year-round activities, while preparing for solar or EV charging and dedicated circuits for home offices or kitchens helps future-proof your home.
