"If I could give I'll Handle It ten stars, I would! I hired Dave, the owner, to tear down my old fence and build me a new one. The proposal price was right in line with what I was expecting and I chose I'll Handle It over the others that I interviewed because of how Dave really listened to what I wanted and although offered suggestions didn't try to push me otherwise. Dave's expertise really became apparent when a snag appeared in the installation because of how the old fence had been installed over a concrete block retaining wall. A masonry person needed to be called in to fix the problem and Dave was able to get him to come over to look at it that same day and the extra cost was right in line with what I was expecting. The masonry repair was completed the next day and Dave finished up constructing my new fence the day after that. This masonry problem really created a problem for Dave because he is very busy and had to move some other work around that he had scheduled for other people. But through it all, he was friendly and solution oriented, and very concerned that my fence was built the way I wanted it. The new fence is fantastic!! I highly recommend Dave and I'll Handle It. "While Michael the owner was responsive when it came to the actual scheduled job he sent a much junior technician whom I certainly did not expect because he did not tell me. They were supposed to contact me before he showed up but there was no advance call, luckily I was home at the time. The tech did his job and was about to just leave without showing/telling me about how it works or what he installed. I had to ask him about the installation so I can be sure I knew how the equipment operated and if there's anything I needed to know about the install. In the end my opinion is the attic fan was a waste of money and my time. We don't notice any difference in the interior temperature of our house when it's hot. When I inquired about a refund (within 30 days of the install), Michael said he would offer $89 refund for the equipment and not the install. And to think if I didn't use Angie's list, this would have cost me several more hundred dollars. An expensive lesson learned!

"Jeremy took the time to explain various aspects of the job before even coming out. He offered references and made me feel confident that he would do the job well. Upon arrival, Jeremy and Luis gave me a breakdown of what it would cost, offered advice for equipment placement and answered all my questions. They did an excellent job mounting my 47 in LCD and installing my surround sound system. During the install they were very clean, took the extra time to clean up and explained how to work my new setup. Their service is great and would recommend this company to anyone. "Pete was very good fixing the problem. The pull chain broke off inside the unit. I took it apart and tried to fix it myself, but was not able to get to the unit with the chain....so much for being a home mechanic! Pete made one short stop here to get the unit apart. He didn't have a replacement part with him, and to save time I went to Fan Diego store for the replacement, and he installed it on another visit a few days later. Problem solved. He is very friendly and worked well. I am having him back soon to repair another ceiling fan that has quit working.
