"

Mr. Dove didn't do the work.  It was two of his employees or subcontractors.  The installation of the wiring, ceiling fan and ceiling light went fine, but the drywall repair wasn't that good.  The texture they sprayed on the walls didn't even remotely match the existing wall texture, so their patch job was obvious.  Also, they didn't reconnect something in one of the outlets so only the top socket worked.  When I notified Mr. Dove, he came out the next day to fix it.  I was impressed by Mr. Dove's professionalism, and would hire him again provided he did the work.

"My experience was outstanding!!  On time, on schedule, under budget, passed City inspection with no issues at all.  Would I recommend and hire again?  Absolutely!!
I was having a solar system installed and needed my electric panel to be upgraded.  I sent inquires to most of the Angieslist electricians and received several responses.  Most replied politely with prices ranging from $1900 to $3000.  Instead of just giving me a "standard price", Pete understood that not every job takes the same amount of work, so he asked for a photo or two of what was I had and what I wanted to be done.  We talked a little, emailed a little, and texted a little.  In the end he gave me a quote for the job, and what would and would not be included (stucco patching).  He's an electrician, not a handyman. This was common amongst all the electricians I received responses from.
His price was by far the best by at least 25%.  Even having to get my own stucco guy, I was $500 ahead than the next closest quote.  Now, full disclosure....we had time to plan this project out.  To help me save money, I asked if I could pull the City permit. No problem.  This was not an emergency fix. SDGE was taking 3 weeks to schedule disconnects, so we picked the soonest date SDGE could do their thing and he booked it on his schedule.
Day of installation?  Nasty weather.  He could have easily blown it off.  If that had happened, my whole solar install would have slipped and not have made its end of year install deadline. Nope, rain or shine, he was going to be there.  I set up a pop up shelter and it worked out perfect. SDGE disconnected at 8:30 and Pete went to work.  By noon, the panel was in with breakers and all. Now we just needed the City inspector to sign off.  Inspector shows up, and it doesn't take 5 minutes for the approval.  Inspector compliments Pete on the install and professional touches indicating he doesn't get many that are that well done.  It doesn't get any better than that!!
Here's another thing?.,  Codes have changed since the house was built and the electrical installed.   We expected to have to re-do the "cold water bond".   As it turned out, the existing "cold water bond" was sufficient for the new panel.  What did he do?  He lowered the cost of the job.  How many others would have still charged?
SDGE showed up, hooked us back up, and between the two of us had all the breakers figured out to what they controlled.  Start to finish was less than 6 hours.
I couldn't be happier with the job and outcome.  Pete Aardema knows what he's doing.  They're good, they're honest, they'll work with you, and they are affordable."

Tv Mount Install questions, answered by experts

The shorter the coaxial cable, the better. The further you run the cable, the more signal loss you'll experience. At 50 feet, you'll see significant signal loss, and by 100 feet, you'll experience at least a 30% drop in signal strength.

Professionals can provide alternatives, like using stands or no-drill mounts where applicable.

Yes, drywall can hold a 50-pound TV. However, when mounting a TV, you’ll either need to attach it to wall studs or use drywall anchors. If you use anchors, make sure to buy a type that can hold at least 50 pounds. Molly bolts, threaded anchors, and toggle bolts are all good options. For extra support, you can also install a wall mounting plate with the anchors.

The cost to have a TV professionally mounted typically ranges from $160 to $360, with a national average of about $260. This price is for labor and does not include the TV mount itself. Several factors can affect the final cost, including the size of the TV and the type of mount used; for example, a fireplace mount costs more than an under-cabinet one. If you want to hide the wires within the wall, the price can increase significantly, potentially to $1,000 or more. For an accurate estimate, it is best to contact a local TV mounting service.

Fire and electronics typically don't mix, but that doesn't mean you can't mount your TV on a brick fireplace. However, you should proceed with caution. If you do not use your fireplace regularly, you can be assured that your TV will remain undamaged. However, if you do take advantage of it, be aware that hot air, containing soot, will travel upwards. Even with the flue fully open, the temperature above the fireplace can still get very high.
