  Spectrum One is our choice over and over again for renovating our home, which was built in the 1960s. Dennis comes out and looks at the scope of the project and gets back to you in a timely manner with an incredibly detailed and professional proposal. He takes into account your vision for the home and offers suggestions for improving the project or explains how the team can make that vision come to life. The project managers who oversee the project from start to finish have been diligent, respectful and ensure that the work being done is of the highest standards. They are on-site every day with a whole team working to get the job done as beautifully and as quickly as possible. The attention to detail from the whole group is what I most appreciate. We have used them for whole-home flooring (removal, installation and baseboards), recessed lighting, countertops, backsplash and would trust them with any project. We recently completed a third project with Spectrum One that included widening doorways, redoing an outdated fireplace hearth, and remodeling two bathrooms.   We already purchased the ceiling fans and lights prior to contacting J Hough Construction. Josh, the owner, came out and gave us a bid. We decided to go with him and he was able to do the job that day! He was super friendly and worked very fast. I appreciated that he didn’t try to gouge us on the price. I received multiple quotes before his and his was definitely on the lower end. The end result of the job was awesome, fans and lights work and everything was cleaned up afterwards. I would definitely recommended this company to friends and family.

  The project was to install new porcelain tile which had appearance of marble for counter and ceramic tile for back splash, plus set in a new sink. It turned out perfectly to my complete satisfaction. The tiles were balanced and level and fit perfectly around the sink. I wanted a very narrow grout line which gave the appearance of a solid surface and I provided the grout powder since I was very particular about the colors, which they accommodated. They also suggested a very creative and intricate tile pattern for the backsplash behind the cooktop which involved considerably more tile cutting at no additional cost. The workers arrived on time, and totally cleaned up after themselves. I don't recall the full length of the project, but it was not that disruptive considering the extent of the project. <br /
