"Our first project with Rick Davis involved repainting baseboards and woodwork in the  master bath & kitchen, re-paint the entry hall, plus re-painting a kitchen wall a deep red. They arrived on time on the appointed day and a crew of 6 or 7 finished the entire project that day. They did a beautiful job and were very professional, totally cleaning up afterwards. After that we scheduled them to return for a smaller job, to "freshen"  a hallway  and its woodwork. We were very pleased and strongly recommend them."

"Aaron showed up 10 min early. He was very professional and courteous. His workmanship was fantastic. He installed the sheet rock, taped and textured the wall in good time. He blended the texture perfectly and seams are utterly non existent. I had Aaron look at another project that I have going on and asked him if he was interested. He said he could perform the work but it was not his specialty and recommended I use someone else. Imagine that, Honesty! I would hire him again anytime. "In summary, Mike was skilled and efficient. First, his bid for the work came in substantially lower the the two other bids I obtained. Second, he has tremendous skill floating walls. It is NOT easy to create a level and smooth surface in an old house with plaster walls. Did I mention that this job was 600 sq ft of floating?:) It usally takes a lot of time, which is why the other bids came in so much higher. I also want to say that the other two companies I had bid the job recommended installing thin drywall board over the entirety of the room. This was not my preference as the ceiling was already low and I didn't want to lose any more space. Mike was able to float a very thin surface over the texture and rough patches to my exact preferences. Third, the grinding/smoothing the concrete was also a bear of a job, and Mike was willing and able. Finally, Mike was constantly offering me great advice to improve the overall finish of the room. He suggested base boards and crown molding around the windows, which I had originally not wanted as I wanted a more 'roughed in' look. He advice turned out to be great and I am very happy with the end result. He even threw in the cutting of the base boards/molding and painting of the room at no addtional cost.
Overall, Mike seemed very invested in this project. That type of investment means Mike will go the extra mile to make your finshed results look great.

"Contacted the company through Angie's List and promptly received a telephone call. I had a laundry list of 14 minor home repairs, and the person I spoke with listened to the first six or so and set up an appointment for 10:30 - 11:30 the following Monday. The work was subbed out to another contractor, who arrived around 9:45 a.m. (That was fine with me.) Here's my list and the work performed:
New caulk for bathtub in second bathroom - caulking done around the edge of tub, but not where tub meets floor
New caulk for master bedroom shower and toilet - caulking done around the edge of shower, but not where shower enclosure meets floor
Replace door knob into gargage - completed
Replace door knob into laundry room - completed
Fix weather stripping at bottom of front door - completed
Fix master bedroom closet door - not completed because contractor didn't have planer
Fix light fixture in the hallway - Said completed, but not completed (Light fixture was cleaned but not fixed)
Fix leak in master shower - completed
Fix smoke detector in hallway - completed
Affix dishwasher housing to cabinetry - completed
Fix second bedroom closet door - Said completed, but not completed (he smacked it so it got back on its track, but there's still a problem because the door won't roll smoothly)
Fix freezer door handle - Not completed, but he gave me the number of an appliance repair person he recommended
Rewire vintage lamp - Not completed; he said it wasn't necessary
Fix sliding glass door lock - Said completed, but not completed (I ultimately had the lock replaced by another provider)
The person who performed the work was friendly, competent, and quick. I wish that all of the items on my list had been completed, but am happy with the work that was done.
