"The pro was not only professional, but removed a dead cat from my engine area. He did it in such a way that there was not a speck of evidence and I imagine the animal had to come out in pieces. Jeremiah also was comforting and reassuring. As you might imagine, I was feeling such a high level of anxiety and he made it all better."

"Pacific Coast did this most thorough inspection of the three companies I dealt with. All three companies had a different approach to termite control. One was to do a cursory inspection and offer what is essentially an insurance policy. Another did a better inspection and offered spot treatment and a 3 year warranty. Pacific Coast did a thorough inspection and offered either spot treatments to the obviously infested areas or comprehensive preventative maintenance treatment in addition to the spot treatments. The cost is more expensive than the other companies but the employees inspire confidence in their work."

"If you need pest control, Next Generation is the company you need. They are super friendly, reliable, and honest. We were quoted $79. for our required service, but when the bill was charged it was for $70, thinking it was a mistake we called the company... But no, no mistake, our property is smaller than they anticipated. Awesome customer service! Thank you, Next Generation, see you next month."

Animal Removal questions, answered by experts

While doggie doors are convenient for pet owners, they do offer a few drawbacks. For instance, they’re small enough that unwanted critters could come into the house, such as raccoons, snakes, rats, and insects.

They’re also large enough that small children can escape through them, which can be a serious concern to parents of young children.

Finally, doggie doors can make it difficult to regulate your home’s temperature because they constantly let in hot or cold outside air.

While keeping any critter away permanently isn’t always possible, you can keep mice away from your home by setting traps, fumigating your space, and sealing known entry points. Once you’ve taken these steps, take time to work on prevention measures, such as clearing out all clutter and recyclables and removing all food sources.

To make sure the removal process goes smoothly, try asking your pro the following questions:

  • Are you licensed and insured?

  • How much experience do you have with relocating beehives?

  • Do you remove the honey and honeycomb?

  • Do you relocate the bees alive?

  • Do you have any references from previous clients?

The primary attractant for moles is food. With a powerful sense of smell, they seek out grubs, earthworms, ants, and other insects in the soil. Other factors can also draw them in, such as moist, loose soil which makes tunneling easier, so an overwatered lawn can be an invitation. Additionally, male moles may enter your yard to expand their territory or find a mate, and if a neighbor has a mole problem, it's possible for them to tunnel over to your property.

Some stores sell smoke bombs to drive animals out of spaces, but we don’t recommend you use them, especially in an attic. The smoke can be toxic to humans or pets that may accidentally inhale it. Meanwhile, critters can easily escape the smoke by temporarily leaving the attic, only to return via their usual entry points after the smoke clears.
