"I cannot recommend Nestor highly enough. He previously painted our exterior and large deck space. We had him come to paint newly installed doors and casings, plus one room and two hallways. This included installing new baseboards and refinishing two sets of older cabinet doors. Nestor's attention to detail is what stands out. He treats the work like it's his own. He doesn't take short cuts and preps the entire area before painting. His knowledge about all paint colors and brands, and his passion to ensure that the client finds the right color, instills trust. He doesn't just roll the wall and walk away. He wants the color to shine, so he primes and does 2-3 coats until the color is just right. He also starts the job and finishes it. "Rodriguez Paint and Finish came in and took a six year old paint job with a bunch of holes from different picture frame changes, peeling paint, incomplete patches, and two different colors as there was a decorative border and turned it into a dream room. I love dark colors and we got a accent wall with a dark color while the other color was a light paint, they complemented each perfectly. He was able to finish the job in a timely manner and provided us the extra paint for later touch ups(we have small children and things happen). I am very happy with the job and look forward to using the company for future projects."

"Everyone was lovely to work with.  All the crews who came to the house were very nice.  The end results were also lovely for the most part.  The cabinets are beautiful, but we do have some chipping of paint on the cabinets already which is disappointing since they are only a few months old.  The fireplace looks great.  The new windows are great.  We did have some leaking the first time it rained but they came back and caulked to fix that problem and also sanded and painted some of the damage to the cabinets.  We were very pleased with their prompt response to that issue.
As I said, they were lovely to work with, but communication was a challenge.  I wasn't clear on who my point of contact was supposed to be so I felt like I was bugging Vicky but I wasn't sure if that was part of her job.  I had to call a lot to find out when things were going to be completed.  I had to really stay on top of what still needed to be done and remind them.  We ran into a couple miscommunications. For example, we assumed that they would reinstall the appliances they pulled out of the kitchen as part of the scope of work but that was extra.  We also asked for a final walk through to go over the work done.  There were a lot of little issues that made the project look unfinished or unpolished.  Most of those were fixed in that final walk through. 
Overall I would recommend them but I would encourage customers to be super specific in the initial contract and plan to be a project manager throughout the process.  I would also ask for a final walk through to have them correct anything that doesn't look right.
