"I found Build the Bay through Angi’s List and I’m so glad we went with them for our bathroom update/remodel! Working with Eitan and his team was like night and day compared to other contractors I have worked with in the past. Specifically what I appreciated is that he treated me with respect and would take the time to explain in layman’s terms what was needed. (I’m not a construction pro by any means.) Eitan even shared a list of vendors that he has worked with in the past for materials and finishes, as well as a checklist to ensure I ordered all the finishing pieces in time. He would even be willing to review any products I was interested in to let me know if it was good quality. It’s only normal for unexpected issues to come up during construction, and what was also great is how communicative Eitan and his team were with me. They would quickly let me know what the issue was, explain what my options were, the cost for each, and what those options would mean in the long run. Eitan always responded very promptly via email or text if I had any questions or requested any updates. Our project has been done for about a month now and I have to say that I strongly feel like Eitan and his team delivered high quality bathrooms in a timely manner. I would definitely reach out to the Build the Bay team again if we needed to do work on our home again."

"The Hall and Master Bathrooms were fully renovated with new cabinets, countertops, showers and fixtures. Leo from Skytech assisted me along the way with option choices and recommendations. The crew was exceptional in their workmanship and were very detail oriented and made sure to clean the area prior to departure each day. "Our experience is identical to what other reviewers shared. And yes, you should run from this company as fast as you can. Do not buy what Abraham shared that the payment must be made when the inspection is passed. Check the Business and Professions code yourself, the payment only needs to be made when the job is completed. It is very COMMON that the job is not even done or poorly performed even the inspection is passed. Here are the issues that multiple families including us run into with this company:: The project was delayed for over 9 months. No one manages the job. He often employs young men from his own Jewish community. They are enthusiastic but had no prior experience. The worse part is that they don't get paid. Two of them even set up a new construction business knowing Abraham will never pay them. Subcontractors can put your house on lien also. Many reviews you see on Yelp, Google, Angi are NOT genuine. Even the references are fake with hindsight, we were given 2 references. One reference shared the exact same accent as the PM. The other reference was initially happy with their work, but then reached out to us and shared a similar horror story with them like what we experienced. You will lose a lot of $$$ on materials as the subcontractors will somehow leave a thousand dollars worth of quartz at home. Maybe they want to compensate for the money Abraham owed them? Let me tell you, reordering materials is not fun."

"⭐ 1 Star – Unsafe, Unlicensed, and Untrustworthy Contractor I hired Fernando Soto / 360FSC Inc. for an ADU and home extension in Millbrae, and it has been one of the most stressful and costly experiences I’ve ever gone through. From the start, Soto relied on unlicensed workers for critical trades. Electrical work was unsafe and failed inspection — indoor panels were installed outside, wires were left unsecured, and essential safety breakers were missing. Plumbing was just as bad: instead of replacing the pipes as I requested on day one, his crew tied old cast iron, clay, and PVC together, even forcing larger pipes into smaller ones. This caused sewage leaks and backups. Independent inspections later confirmed major issues: Flooring – failed inspection and needs to be completely redone. Foundation – the new extension has already sunk by about 3.5 inches, creating serious structural risks. On top of that, the project stalled for months after May 19th, billing was vague, and Soto even threatened to rip out work I had already paid for. He hides behind a P.O. Box in Belmont instead of a real address, which says a lot about accountability. This contractor cuts corners, uses unlicensed trades, and leaves unsafe work behind. Do not make the mistake I did — avoid Fernando Soto and 360FSC Inc. One more red flag: a glowing “review” on this page was written by Rachel G — who is actually tied to his business. That tells you everything about how much weight to give positive reviews here."

"Excellent choice to remodel our bathroom in our 100 year old home. Everything was broken or worn out. We are a senior couple and wanted to plan for the future. I was very impressed with the project manager, foreman and workers. They were attentive, respectful and worked with great skill. They kept the vintage details we wanted, like the window and door frame. We installed a walk-in tub, which was unusual, but they did a great job with it. When problems arose, they always had an good solution, such as when the wall tile we chose turned out to be unavailable. They made good alternative suggestions to my ideas, such as a glass panel on the open side of the tub instead of the built-up wall I thought we needed (less space, easier to clean, and lets in more light). They handled all permits and observed all code requirements, like a new main electrical panel and lead paint abatement. The price was reasonable (I obtained other bids). I recommend them highly."
