"Miller and his colleagues were able to do a lot of things quickly. Along with everything else, they also grabbed some old furniture that I needed help moving to the curb. They took several cares to make sure nothing was damaged during the move, including wrapping the furniture, turning off all the lights, and packaging the picture frames."

"I had an awesome experience with Most Wanted Movers. From the first message to the final pickup, everything was smooth, professional, and stress-free. They showed up on time, worked fast, and handled everything with care?no mess left behind at all. What really stood out was how friendly and respectful they were, and how fair the pricing was compared to other quotes I got. If you need junk removal done right (and without the headache), I 100% recommend this company. I?ll definitely be using them again and recommending them to all of my friends and family."

Hauling questions, answered by experts

Yes, many companies recycle concrete, metal, and other materials to minimize landfill waste.

Sometimes you may be able to leave the bags with your regular trash. However, that’s not always the case. Call your local waste management prior to starting the removal and ask about the proper ways to recycle or dispose of removed insulation. In many cases, your town or municipality has a designated dumpster for building waste.

Regular checks of structural elements, weatherproofing, and energy systems.

Cardboard is one of the easiest leftover packing materials to upcycle, as you can cut it and glue it to create crafts, drawer organizers, weed blockers for your garden, templates for woodworking, and more—your creativity is your only limitation. Plastic is best for crafts, but depending on the shape, you can use plastic components as indoor planters, organizational baskets, and more. Rubber bands are great for creating grips for jar or bottle lids, preventing clothes from falling off of hangers, or creating a grip for screws in damaged wood.

Who is responsible for construction debris removal depends on the language in the construction contract. Usually, the contractor is responsible for removal rather than the homeowner. However, removal and disposal tend to come with additional fees that should be listed as line items in the initial estimate. This way, the homeowner can negotiate and decide whether or not to DIY.
