"I hired Neli over a week period for 3 different appliances, my dryer, washing machine, dishwasher, and even kitchen sink! I had a fantastic experience: 1. I fixed my dryer with Thomas' excellent remote guidance, changing the timer and the switch! Fabulous guidance Thomas, with lots of money saved! I learned a lot in the process. 2. I determined that there was no dishwasher leak and in the process learned how to check for leaks and trouble shoot for some common repair issues. It cost $40.00 but as I had some water on the floor, I was ready to get a new dishwasher. No, bleach will not harm PVC pipes. Assuming the bleach is not mixed with any other chemicals, you can dilute it and pour it down a drain that has PVC plumbing. Undiluted bleach won’t hurt PVC pipes, but bleach should be diluted before disposing of it by pouring it down a drain.
Dripping misters are a sign that the nozzles or holes in the tubing have some problems. Try flushing your system thoroughly. If that doesn’t help, examine each nozzle closely and clean them thoroughly with a brush, making sure the exit points are as smooth as possible. If this still doesn’t work, you may need to take off the nozzles entirely and soak them in water with a cleaning solution for a while. This is an important step if dust, mildew, or other gunk builds up in the nozzles.
In some situations, you may be able to try an alternative to repiping your bathroom.
