"Excellent!!! Christopher Rubio was very responsive and kept me abreast of time of arrival throughout the day. He had a project in the morning and was coming to perform work for my mom later in the day. I was coming from an hour away so trying to coordinate time. He was very punctual and ended up waiting for me to arrive since I was delayed in traffic. Install went very well. We ran into a snag with one of the shower bars because the second stud could not be clearly identified, so Christopher immediately located a hardware store nearby and purchased tile anchors to secure bar into wall. He wanted to ensure that the bars installed were safe for my mom as if he were installing them for his mom or grandmother. He left the area clean and performed the job well. He made an elderly woman (my mom) very happy and I have piece of mind that my mom is safe having grab bars in her shower area. Thanks Christopher! "All work was done except installing the new vanity. I verbally told him I would keep the last $1000 until He came back and installed the vanity. He said he would come right over and install it when I got it in, that he needed to pay his guys for the work that has already been done. Because he said he would come right over in two or three days to install the vanity after I got it, I believed him and I paid the last $1000."

"Finally I decided if I had to sell the house it would have to be as is.
I would never be able to use the shower. The master bath remodeled
in 2010 but the shower pan done incorrectly. I was about to give up. Got quotes from several companies on Angie's list, very disappointing. Quoted from 5000 to 10,000 just so unreal.  I called Building Expressions, Paul Estevez. Very nice, honest and conscientious. He was not sure about doing the job he was afraid there was a problem with the wood jousts in the bathroom area. I have a crawlspace.  He did not have the time to do a repair on that if needed. Also it was constructed in such a way years ago repairs difficult.
He did decide to do the job. Most of the job he did. His helper was not always available.
He really did not make a big to do about the repair.
 Once he opened up the shower floor water poured out of the shower pan liner in the area near the toilet  so it probably was not the toilet flange that was the problem.
The shower pan was a total mess. Paul explained to
me all the problems, I could see them. If there were additional problems he would have to charge more as expected.
The bottom row of tiles were carefully removed and saved, so happy. Other companies that had quoted me would just rip out the tiles and would not care if they broke. The wood under the crawlspace was not as bad as he thought. He moved the drain, put in the shower pan and did the tiles and replaced one water pipe, additional charge for the pipe.
 No big deal although it was a lot of hard work and difficult.
I did not need a whole bunch of people. My shower did not have to be ripped out as one company told me they would have to do. He did some other repairs for me around the house also not included in the shower pan price.
He did not have time to do one other repair he had to go do a remodel. Checked out his license on the state
website everything was ok. He even showed me his contractor?s license and driver?s
license that they matched.
