Tom worked with me. Once my child was within a two hour reach, I was able to contact Tom, booked three men. Movers and kids arrived the same time! Those men jumped into gear and completed unloading before three hour, moving on the second floor! Awesome, awesome job! I called and not one company was available . I don’t live in CA, absolutely trustworthy! I trusted Tom and their team came through! This move was a complete nightmare! The movers call and total relief. Thank you"

We are proud to provide a service that no other company offers; Dedicated Trucks. This means that your belongings are loaded on the truck and not combined with anyone else’s items (from/to west coast only). They are not transferred to other trucks or facilities in route which causes damage and loss of items (typical with van lines). We have a set loading day and unloading day. This is by far the safest way to ship. Our interstate rates are per 24ft moving van that holds up to 8,500lbs or 1400CuFt. Some customers require one truck and some require more. "I would like others to know not to hire a company that will not take the time to come to your home and give you a quote. That is a mistake I am paying for. I was quoted $7500-$8000 over text, my final charges were almost 11k! They also changed the quote AFTER I started questioning the charges. We have almost $8000 in damages. Forced to sleep on the floor because they damaged the headboard to my bed. They do t assemble items they claim on their website they do. My daughters bed was poorly assembled to a point it could have seriously harmed my daughter. What if that was a baby crib? They hid the poles to hold the bed up under the mattress. Imagine if this was your child's bed. They also broke an expensive flat-screen TV and had it facing the wall so we could not see it. Please record if you hire movers and stay behind them as they're bringing your items into your home. And also very very important to go through all the items as they remove them from their truck. My family and I have suffered since this move. Has caused us pain and suffering. I am a vet and get paid disability for my back and was forced to sleep on the floor. In my 30 years of moving, I have never experienced a bad move until I came across this moving company. It is almost impossible to get them to reply to my emails me text messages."

"My name is Lorraine, and I received a quote of $14,000 from a broker. The broker verified my inventory multiple times before the scheduled pickup, and it was accurate. However, the broker subcontracted the move to Presto Logistics, a company I was unfamiliar with at the time. I had engaged the broker, not Presto, and was unaware that they were acting as a broker themselves, which led to my surprise when a different company arrived. This situation quickly escalated when Presto Logistics increased my costs from $14,000 to nearly $30,000. They have not provided any documentation to justify this significant price hike, and they continue to refuse my requests for such paperwork. "DO NOT USE TGIS COMPANY!! They ruined my 1904 Baldwin grand piano. He sent 2 guys he hired from who knows where in an old beat up truck. I had no idea until it was already loaded and in its way to my house. I then Was VERY upset of course. Then the guy started cussing at us with my kids there, and literally threw the piano out on its side. And took off with some if the piano parts. We called multiple time and one of them finally brought the parts back. The entire piano was scratched all over and a huge gouge out of the side. The owner assured me he had insurance but then stopped text back and change his number!! I beg You please do not even consider using this company. And then to represent himself as a ?man of faith? it?s was just heartbreaking. "

Tipping movers isn’t mandatory, and most professional companies won’t expect it, but it is a nice way to say “thank you” and to show your appreciation for the care they took while handling your belongings. Tipping somewhere between 10% and 20% of your total bill to split among the movers is a good amount. Tipping is an especially good idea if your movers are working in the rain, snow, or excessive temperatures, if they relocate specialty items, like pianos, or simply if they go above and beyond during the process of moving.

Start by removing any obstacles in the moving path, such as side tables, lamps, or other furniture. If your couch has legs, unscrew them. Measure the couch and the stairway to ensure you have enough room; if it seems unlikely, examine the shape and size of the couch and decide whether it might fit better up the stairway and through doorways on its side, held diagonally, or moved in an upright position.

Consider putting the sofa on a dolly to go up the stairs. It should be able to fit upright on a standard dolly with wheels. You’ll still need to lift the dolly—with the couch on it—up the stairs, but it will reduce the physical strain. The person holding the dolly should pull the couch up, while the helper should be on the other side, keeping the couch secure and steady.

If you don’t have a dolly, the person in front should lift the couch slightly higher than the person in the back to create more stability. The person in the back should also be the stronger mover, as most of the weight will be distributed there.

Moving bulky home gym equipment without disassembling it is possible, but it can be more time-consuming, troublesome, and costly. Transporting a treadmill or rowing machine in one piece might require more labor to lift it and maneuver it out of your home, and it will take up more space in a moving truck.

The best way to pack mirrors is to use specially padded cartons or boxes made for mirrors. Be sure to thoroughly wrap the fragile mirror in padded paper or bubble wrap before sliding it into its box. That way, there’s a protective barrier in between the mirror and the box. Then, fill in any gaps with crumpled paper or additional packing materials.
