"I recently hired JRC ProPainting to paint the exterior of my home, and I couldn't be happier with the results. From start to finish, the experience was exceptional. Roberto and his team were professional, punctual, and highly skilled. They paid great attention to detail, ensuring that every corner and edge was perfectly painted. The quality of their work is outstanding. The paint job has completely transformed the look of my house, making it look fresh and vibrant. They used high-quality materials and took the time to properly prepare the surfaces, which really shows in the final result. Communication was excellent throughout the project. Roberto kept me informed of the progress and was always available to answer any questions I had. The team was respectful of my property and cleaned up thoroughly after the job was done. Overall, I highly recommend JRC ProPainting for any painting needs. Their professionalism, craftsmanship, and customer service as top notch. Great Work JRC!"

"

Ciro came by and provided a prompt and thorough quote.  We scheduled the repair within the next week.

Roberto showed up early!  He took care to cover the floors leading into the bathrooms, covered the fixtures and set about changing round holes to rectangular openings which fit the new fan fixtures.  After the drywall installation, he primed the new patch so I will be able to paint to match the rest of the room.

The work was well done and completed within a very short period of time.

I highly recommend Menaci Design Drywall, Ciro and Roberto.

Interior Painting questions, answered by experts

There are times when you should remove all exterior paint before repainting. This includes when you need to get rid of lead-based paint (which should be done by a pro), or if you need to apply a different finish than what’s already there. Your house may also have too many pre-existing layers of old paint, in which case you’ll be better off getting rid of the old layers first.

A traditional German schmear uses mortar, making it unsuitable for adherence to painted surfaces. Professionals recommend removing any existing paint before applying mortar. However, you can rough up the painted surface and clean it to test if the mortar will stick. Remember that the underlying paint's texture and color may affect the schmear's final appearance—so starting with a bare brick wall will ensure the ideal finish.

Distilled white vinegar can help you remove candle wax from surfaces like countertops. You’ll need to scrape off most of the wax and use the distilled white vinegar to help soften and remove the rest and leftover residue. Keep in mind that while it’s possible, using distilled white vinegar isn’t an effective method for removing wax compared to the methods listed above.

It’s a good idea to sand your porch before painting. This will remove loose or chipped paint and debris, and give you a cleaner surface so that your new paint goes on smoothly. But if the existing surface is in good condition, it’s not necessary to sand your porch before you paint.

When a window is painted shut, this means that paint has gotten into the cracks when window sashes or window frames were being painted. It’s pretty easy for this sort of thing to happen while painting, but sometimes homeowners will use paint to seal drafty windows, which will often cause them to get stuck shut.
