"They provided excellent service and was very professional and quick. I am so pleased with the outcome. My yard is beautiful. All the neighbors are envious. They came back with a quote that be out all the other landscapers and were very nice to work with. Five stars across the board."

"Bobby, was extremely trustworthy and did great work. He showed up when he said he would and made sure everything turned out great. I would definitely hire him again. He also did work for two of my neighbors."

"As a new home owner I knew nothing about landscaping but knew we really wanted to upgrade our outdoor space to accommodate guest. We found Stangby designs by chance on Instagram. I told Josh what I had in mind, let’s just say they absolutely blew me away with the professionalism, positive attitude, and work ethic. Stangby designs did excellent! Work on my landscaping it made my wife’s day, and the best part I didn’t have to lift a finger."
A well Designed project results in fun for the family. Here is the party that occurred right after the design was installed.

"Really impressed with my new back yard. I was very hesitant as I got so many bids at first, but really what got me is the way they approached that. From A to Z everything done professionally, with a 3D design, demo, and building the new concrete and pool. I love how everything came out and will be happy to use their service in the future."

"Great experience from day one. What started as a new patio turned in to the backyard of our dreams !! Jimmy is super easy to work with & has a great crew. We trusted them all & couldn't have asked for a harder working crew. The more we got to know jimmy the more we were comfortable adding more to our budget. He really has a great vision in explaining what he can do & turning our ideas into reality. We had no intention of spending this much initially, now we feel our backyard is worth more than we could have ever imagined !! The WOW factor from before & after is truly amazing !! To top it all off we're using jimmys brother Rick of pacific construction services to finish it all off with a patio cover, 12ft by 24ft pool room ( which jimmy also poured & I didn't list above) and a built in BBQ. Valley Concrete gets my highest recommendation for just a super job.

Patios questions, answered by experts

A screened-in porch can add value to your home, with a potential return on investment (ROI) of 70% to 84%. The actual value added depends heavily on several factors. Climate is a major consideration; homes in warm, humid, or buggy areas (like the Southern regions) see the highest ROI. In colder climates, the value is diminished as the unconditioned space is unusable for much of the year. Other factors that influence the return include the quality of materials and construction, the size of the porch, and the local real estate market. While a screened-in porch can enhance curb appeal and attract potential buyers, it is not included in the home's total square footage for appraisal purposes.

In most parts of the U.S., adding a screened-in porch requires a building permit. Since this type of project often involves structural work and changes to your home’s footprint, homeowners should adhere to local guidelines. That said, permit rules can vary widely depending on where you live and how extensive the project is. Before you start sketching out plans or ordering materials, check in with your city or county’s building department to avoid headaches, fines, and potential structural issues down the line.

The average cost to enclose a patio to create a sunroom is around $5,000, and prices generally range from $3,000 up to $10,000. The price you pay will depend on the state of your patio and whether it needs repairs or additional structural support, the quality of the materials you choose, the size of your patio, and whether you plan to run utilities into and finish the sunroom. The price for a fully finished patio enclosure could run up to around $20,000, while you might pay just $2,500 for a screened-in porch.

You can start your search for a reputable patio company by finding providers in your area with positive ratings online and few, if any, complaints filed with the Better Business Bureau (BBB). Once you narrow down your search, contact the companies and ask for examples of their past work, as well as a list of references. The examples will show you the quality of the work you can expect and how professional the finished product will be, and contacting previous customers will give you an idea of the service you can expect throughout the process.

A Florida room doesn’t have insulation, nor is the space heated, so in most cases, the room won’t be comfortable enough to use during the winter months. A four-season room, which is like a Florida room that’s insulated, heated, and cooled, is a better option if you’re looking to enjoy your sunroom all year long.
