With over 14 years of experience in the electrical industry, we are the experts you need to take care of your home or business. We handle everything from wiring, to panel upgrades, to electrical installations. We will treat your home as we would treat our own. Give Cotter Electric a call today, we look forward to working with you!

"The generator is a piece of junk. So is the shabby shed that was built around it. The project has been going on for more than two months now the work is not finished and the generator does not work. I would not dare to use it anyway, that's how bad it all looks. The workers that were brought in to help are not licensed from what I heard. I paid $3000 as a first payment. The total price would be $9665. I am at a point now that I contacted other electricians to get this project done. I still think that Chris, the electrician, had good intentions but that does not make the generator useful. I probably even have to pay to get it hauled away. Overall it was a very bad experience."

With Uxari, you and your home are connected, automatically. You choose what to connect (devices) and we do the connecting (wireless services plan). So go ahead, start enjoying your new life style, knowing answers to all your questions are only a call or an e-mail away. And the best part is all of our services come with a 30-day, risk-free trial. We believe in not only finding exactly the right plan for you, but making sure you’re completely satisfied with it, too.

"The Smart Home features they installed, such as thermostat and door locks, etc. do not always work. For example, the Honeywell thermostat can no longer be operated from our phones and is difficult to install. Remote door locks are also unpredictable."

Zions Security Alarms installs home security systems, security cameras, and home automation. We are also an ADT Authorized Dealer and the least expensive way to get ADT. When you call us you talk directly to the owner and get your questions answered fast. We are a small local company that has been in business for 14 years and has an A+ BBB Rating. We have flexible options for everyone.

"Zions Security delivered consistently incompetent service, disregard for the lack of protection that left us exposed to, made even worse by dishonesty. From the day they installed the system onward, it never worked properly. As an example, the front door camera did not record visitors (or potential intruders) as they approached the house, only walking away. Multiple visits by Zions technicians failed to correct the problem. Still, they charged us for each visit, falsely insisting the system was working when the technician left (then why would we have them come back!). One technician was aggressively hostile toward my wife and me. Presented with these scenarios, the owner, Jake, displayed indifference bordering on contempt for his clients’ situation. I finally gave up and hired another company; it took them a few minutes to solve the problems Zions couldn’t fix in over a year. Spare yourself the time, money, and aggravation: don’t use Zions Security!"

Home Automation questions, answered by experts

Yes, you can install a home security system in an old house. In fact, you can install a security system in any home. Some wiring may need to be added, but most home security systems do not require a lot of additional wiring. Wireless security systems can easily be installed with minimal additional wiring, if any at all. Most wireless security systems can be monitored and controlled from your smartphone, and the cameras and sensors operate on batteries.

Yes, adding ease of use and remote access via smartphones.

In most cases, you can expect home automation to boost your home value. This technology makes the homeowner’s life easier and more comfortable, and some provide increased safety and protection. Buyers will likely recognize value in security systems and utility monitors, as well as comfort-focused upgrades that save on electric bills while keeping interior rooms at the desired temperature and humidity. On average, you can expect a 50% and 75% return on investment on home automation services, and potentially even more if the automation reduces homeowner’s insurance.

Smart switches require a neutral wire for correct installation. Neutral wires aren't typically present in a single-pole switch configuration, so this project can be a tricky one for average DIYers. In most cases, you should hire an electrician to run a new circuit or adapt your existing wiring to include a neutral connection to accommodate a smart switch.

Costs depend on property size, network complexity, and labor rates.
