Response from Healthy Paws Pet Specialists
[Member name removed], I am sorry [member name removed] that you feel services were not performed as expected. It is actually in our contract that we do not take care of animals that are intact or that have not been spayed. However, I tried to go above and beyond because you were in dire need of help so I decided to take on the task of helping your babies although you are almost an hour out of my typically service area. I did my absolute best to accommodate your request and arrive at 5:00am in the morning in an area that is not within our service area. Our company will do our absolute best to arrive when agreed but we cannot contractually fulfill the exact time of my arrival was changed 7 hours (11:30 P.M.) before the agreed upon time. I believe that is also should be known that you had clearly mentioned that you and your wife would be spending all day cleaning up the "dog mess" which included cleaning dog urine and fecal matter throughout the house. You also failed to mention that your daughter was the one who "arrived" at the home whom had never seen the condition of the home (ever). Reports on the condition and cleanliness of a home by a person who had never seen the status of the home is unjustified. Furthermore, upon my arrival, you informed me that one of your dogs was going thru a heat cycle (bleeding all over the house) and you also informed me that FIVE of your adult dogs were not trained to use the bathroom outside and regularly had accidents in the home. Despite all of these violations of our contract, changes in schedule, and distance over 1.5 hours away from our service area, I made it a priority to take the utmost care of your dogs by providing you with photos, videos, and more. [Member name removed], I took on the task of traveling to Pala because you were in desperate need of help and I always try to go above and beyond for my clients. I have reached out to you during and after the time of service in order to make sure that everything was up to your satisfaction but received no response. I should also add that I even offered to help with the evacuation of your pets during the fire after MONTHS of not getting any response from you. You specifically violated our contractual agreement by not informing me when you (pet owners- physically returned to the household) and I did my best to clean your home on a daily basis (including dog urine, fecal matter, and blood fro your dogs menstrual cycle). I can guarantee that I thoroughly cleaned every corner of your home which included disinfecting your floors and mops and more. I spent over 5 hours on the date of my departure to make sure that your home was cleaner than you left it which is something Healthy Paws makes as a standard policy. Lastly, we discussed at length training plans and ways in which we could potentially rectify training problems in a household of over SIX dogs with behavioral issues. Six untrained dogs that are not potty trained and not spayed or neutered will create a mess in any home and I did my absolute best to clean up after them, attempt to train them with basic commands, and make sure that they were all healthy and happy, while also maintaining steady contact with you. Please feel free to contact me personally via phone or e-mail if you would like to discuss this matter further. Again, I am sincerely sorry that you were this dissatisfied with our service but we cannot accept liability or reports based on the comments of someone who is not the owner of the dogs or the household.
