"I’ve used Robert and George for several of my construction projects in Newport Beach, and they have consistently delivered top-notch work. They show up on time, work quickly and efficiently, and their pricing is always fair. What really sets them apart is their willingness to go above and beyond…whether it’s accommodating schedule changes, jumping in to solve unexpected site issues, or making sure the final product looks perfect. It’s rare to find a concrete crew that combines quality, speed, and true professionalism the way they do. I trust them with my projects and will continue to use them in the future. Highly recommend!"

"Victor was quick to come out and give me an estimate. He quickly understood the complexity of my project and gave me a good price on a solution. A couple of days later, he and his worker came out and finished the job in one day. He cut out and removed part of a concrete wall that was falling because of tree roots. He replaced it with a great looking fence. The area was cleaned up, and everything is in great order."

"I received 4 bids on the job, all about the same. However it was clear that Robbie the owner of the company understood exactly what I needed, he also suggested some very practical changes that made for a much more satisfactory job. I am very pleased with the job and would recommend this company to anybody. I make my living as a commercial building inspector, and have inspected thousands of concrete placements. This guy is the real deal. Highly recommended. Robert Moore"

"Some of the work days were modified, date and times and the quality and end result was worth it. Alan on the other hand was always available to talk to me. The project included polymer modified cement, applied stencil pattern, semi transparent concrete color stain, semi gloss polyurethane with non-slip coat finish. Excellent job and reasonably priced."

Concrete Cutting questions, answered by experts

Since water heaters are primarily made of metal, they’re commonly accepted by scrap yards and collectors. Don’t expect to fetch a high price, though—water heaters are mostly steel and aluminum, which aren’t high-value metals. Some components are made of more valuable metals, like brass and copper, but they’re a small portion of the heater and won’t affect the price much.

Your typical household tools will not cut a metal pipe. To cut a metal pipe, you’d need more specialized tools like a pipe cutter or circular saw. Do not attempt to use these tools without taking proper safety precautions and wearing safety gear. It’s usually safer to let a pro cut a metal pipe, especially if you’re not confident in your skills with a heavy-duty saw.

The average cost for a welding project is about $300, with typical costs ranging from $125 to $490. However, prices can be as low as $125 for very small jobs or exceed $1,200 for large or complex projects. Welders typically charge an hourly rate between $65 and $150, depending on their experience, and many charge a minimum fee to cover overhead and travel expenses. The total cost is influenced by several factors, including labor, the cost of materials like metal rods and shielding gas, the type of metal being welded, the project's size and complexity, and your geographic location. For a precise quote, it's best to ask a local welder for an estimate based on your specific project.

Welders use a variety of methods in their trade. Different types of welding are better suited for different purposes and contexts. For example, stick welding is a versatile form suitable for most metals and alloys. The most common types of welding include:

  • Stick welding: $100–$1,000

  • Metal Inert Gas (MIG) welding: $250 and up

  • Tungsten Inert Gas (TIG) welding: $250 and up

  • Gas welding: $150 and up

  • Forge welding: $15–$25 per hour

Sawing your hot tub into more manageable chunks so it can be lifted easily into a truck takes several hours. Generally, 2.5 hours for smaller hot tubs and around 4 hours for larger ones with the help of one to two people. If money isn't a concern and you want to skip the physical labor, you can hire a pro to get the job done.
