In our master bedroom, to take advantage of a fantastic view, they removed a large window from one wall, sealing it up like new, and installed a similar window on another wall. The work was performed quickly and skillfully, with great results. They also turned the double door leading into that room into a single door, creating more space in the room. Concurrently, in the guest bathroom, the old tub was removed, and a beautiful walk-in tiled shower was installed, along with a window with a fantastic view. The project manager Rick was a pleasure to work with, and his team were all professional, conscientious, and friendly. Everything turned out just as we imagined. We would highly recommend Ovation Restoration."

"This is the worst contractor experience we have ever had and we?ve had several, being the owners of 2 homes and 16 rentals. This project was to restore the master bedroom, bathroom, several areas of hardwood flooring and drywall after a leaky pipe did major damage. Much of what they had to rebuild was part of a major remodel we had done in 2017 using a most professional contractor, very high-end materials and master workmanship. What we now have is okay, even ?kind-of? nice, but nowhere near the excellence we once had. We are resigned to just live with it, enjoy it and just be happy we have our house back after 10 months. RCA was friendly but not to be trusted as far a keeping the promises they continually made. Some of the workmanship was unacceptable and they had to bring in a new sub to repair it. "Jake is very friendly. In the end I felt over charged for the work done. It only took 4 hours for his hard worker, who only spoke Spanish, to do the job, Jake was gone95% of the time and didn’t return until the job was done. His estimate was significant for the end amount of work. He took some off the initial estimate after I brought up that it was instead of 2 workers only 1 and for 8 hours, which ended up being half. I was not thrilled. Job site cleanup charge for $250. there was no clean up. dirt all over my tile floor and dirt all over the ceiling attic cover that I had to then drag my ladder in to clean up. Materials charge for $600.? a few pieces of cheaper wood than the redwood the house was built with. a few screws? I’m sorry I am a senior as well. I honestly don’t feel this job should have cost 2k. I have owned 3 different homes, I will never go with 1 estimate again. Just being honest here."
