Kitchen Remodel
This is the worst contractor experience we have ever had and we?ve had several, being the owners of 2 homes and 16 rentals. This project was to restore the master bedroom, bathroom, several areas of hardwood flooring and drywall after a leaky pipe did major damage. Much of what they had to rebuild was part of a major remodel we had done in 2017 using a most professional contractor, very high-end materials and master workmanship. What we now have is okay, even ?kind-of? nice, but nowhere near the excellence we once had. We are resigned to just live with it, enjoy it and just be happy we have our house back after 10 months.
RCA was friendly but not to be trusted as far a keeping the promises they continually made. Some of the workmanship was unacceptable and they had to bring in a new sub to repair it. Toward the end of the project they hired a new project manager, Tim, who was nice (though also unable to work in a timely manner). He explained that we were being squeezed in around other

This is quite literally the worst company I have ever had the displeasure of working with and I highly recommend you look elsewhere if you want honesty, communication, and clarity from your construction company. To sum up our experience from hell, RCA dropped the ball on our very simple two bathroom (one was just doing the tub and tile), days would go by and no one would show up, we would call and call the project manager and someone would show up one day and the same would happen . I saw on facebook that during the timeline of our project they were posting two emergency projects they completed and asking for more work- I couldnt believe they were trying to get more clients when they couldnt even manage a small job that was supposed to be done in two weeks after 2 months passed- unbelievable. We also were never told that they had emergency projects they were taking on in place of ours so we could arrange another contractor and it is unclear to me why they felt our job was so unimporta

We deliver high-quality craftsmanship and are proud of the trust our clients place in us?many of whom are willing to wait weeks or months for our availability because they value doing the job right. Additionally, most of our clients are willing to have discussions with new customers to express the positive and great experience they had with RCA. We understand the client?s personal situation added stress, but that does not justify the false narrative presented here. We do not reschedule projects based on who complains the loudest, and we certainly do not prioritize speed over quality or jump between jobs at random. Advertising for emergency services does not impact our repairs schedule by any means since our emergency services are performed by a completely different division and crew. We were very fortunate to have RCA recommended to us by our insurance carrier. After the early-January storms, our house suffered damage in two places: A window was completely blown off the side of the house, and we had water damage and a collapsed ceiling in one room from rain that came in through a chimney. RCA handled both repairs and everything looks good as new. They even handled the mold remediation that was required. Lance and his team were great, and kudos to their office staff (Kalin & Monique) who were always available by phone and able to provide status updates on repairs and billing. While we hope to not need them anytime soon, we would jump at the chance to hire RCA again for any house repairs. Thanks RCA!

I worked with the team at RCA for my kitchen remodel and total electrical overhaul. Every person in the company worked diligently over the course of a many months to get the job done beautifully. The office team always prompt, courteous and incredibly helpful. The onsite team worked tremendously hard and often went above and beyond to get the job done. The kitchen ended up exactly as I envisioned and am incredibly happy with it. Everyone from Monique, Kaitlan, Linder and Marco the owner deserve an A+++++...they are unbelievably responsive, professional and kind. My 94 year old parents in Sonoma CA had serious water damage I called them to make an appt. and they were out at my parents house @ 11:00 am the same day considering how busy they are right now that is truly amazing. I hired this group after learning that my wet bar pipes broke and flooded my living areas. They were prompt and very professional to conduct the water abatement and damage control. Especially helpful was Francisco and Linder, Uriel and Luis. Very respectful and responsive to my home needs. I highly recommend these guys.

The RCA motto: â You Dream It - We Build Itâ My â dreamâ was to have a ramp to my step-down living space, a partial wall removal and the installation of a slider door. Marco-Estimator and Terry- Project Manager, observed my space, listened to my needs/desires, then offered imaginative suggestions that I had not even considered. Benito- Lead Carpenter, Jaime & Juan-Carpenters, knew the daily plan and worked the plan efficiently - taking great pride in their work and keeping the rest of my home protected with wall-to-wall, ceiling-to-floor plastic sheeting. Terry Sr- Field Supervisor, came by frequently to ensure the carpenters had the resources they needed and that I was satisfied with the project progress. The end result is a beautiful space that truly exceeded my initial vision (thanks to those imaginative suggestions). Emilie & Monique- Project Coordinators, are the best with their continual communications - they made me feel like I was their only client and my project was their top priority.

I very much enjoyed working with the folks at RCA. all works was done well and scheduling and communications were beyond reproach. We got caught in the supply chain bottleneck on the floor materials but Fernando was able to provide and effective temporary alternative while we waited and got the job finished immediately when the flooring came in. The custom Redwood slab countertops are beautiful . Thank you Terry Sr., the long hours of hard work show. My hat is off to the office staff, Emilie, Terry and Marco for making the job run smoothly.

RCA Construction has been amazing to work with. We had a horrible flooding situation that destroyed half of our home and RCA was able to start promplty and professionally and swiftly mitigate the water damage and prevent any chance of mold. Linder and Hugo were on our job and they were incredibly hard working and reassuring as I asked questions throughout. They were careful to salvage whatever they could and thorough in getting to all the damage. I highly recommend them and love that they are a caring local business. I also really liked the way their office and Monique handled scheduling and were available to answer all my questions. I am choosing RCA to continue to handle the rebuild portion of the job now because they have done such a good job with the mitigation and I iknow that their level of committment will help the job continue to progress to the finish line. The absolute greatest! These aren't just cabinet, tile, electric guys; they are skilled craftsmen, very particular to details making sure everything was just right. Marco initiated the process ; Terry was checking in making sure things were going as scheduled; always communicating with me, making suggestions, verifying measurements; Emily and Nichole in the office who I could always call for any questions or add ons which I did have. Workers showed up on time. My kitchen turned out AMAZINGLY due to their experience and quality of workmanship. I went from an old outdated kitchen to a BEAUTIFUL (quartz countertops corner cabinets with turntables , drawers with dividers for dishes (AWESOME) and pull out drawers in the food cabinet,EFFICIENT kitchen .thanks to all of you at RCA! The price and quality was unbeatable.

I had an amazing experience. My kitchen looks absolutely fantastic and better than I ever could imagine. They said it would take about 3 weeks and they got it done in a little less than 3 weeks. No issues with anyone. It was the smoothest process and everyone I talked to was very straightforward and knew what they were talking about. I highly recommend that you go through RCA to do any type of remodel or installation, they did not disappoint

I hired RCA Construction to remodel my outdated kitchen. They were quick to respond and a pleasure to work with. I needed help and experience team at RCA made the whole process easy and exciting. I decided on painted cabinets quartz countertops with full height quartz back splash. They even installed new flooring in my kitchen and dining room. I shopped around and discovered that nobody could match the quality or the fast completion date. The whole team was very professional and easy to work with even with my angry little dog.
