"I am so, so happy with Mario and his workers. I hired him to correct the mistakes of the first person I hired and ultimately had to fire because after a couple of rooms it was obvious he didn’t know what he was doing. I wish I had found Mario first and the project would have been a lot less cheaper and done much quicker! He offered me a great price- I think he felt bad for me lol. His guys were courteous and prompt and Mario’s communication with me throughout the process was superb. No big project is without hiccups but I have to say if you’re looking for someone to do flooring as well as stairs (which included ripping out the old treads) I can’t recommend anyone more highly than MG’s General Construction!"

"Job went well arrived on time ready to work....did tv mount fairly quick was all around satisfied with that did some ground work for cameras and jumped right into it. Was pleased with it all was very professional. Made suggestions and gave a few recommendations and advice for the equipment answered all questions asked assured me I would have no worries bout any issues if so he'd be right out to fix things. Ive had no issues whatsoever. Was excellent job for the price. Thank you livewire look forward to doing future business. Unfortunately for security reasons of my business I chose not to post pics. But couldn't of a more pleasant experience with livewire"

Playground Equipment questions, answered by experts

Generally speaking, building a swing set is cheaper than buying a prefabricated one, but this assumes you have all the tools and knowledge to complete the project. The average cost to build a swing set is $514, but you should also factor in the time and effort it will require—if you don’t want to give up your weekend, it’s worth considering buying instead of building.

Children can become interested in playset activities as young as two years old, and many start to lose interest between ages nine and 12. Backyard playsets can grow and adapt as the children age and playtime interests change.

For artificial turf that’s the most durable, look for heat-resistant products with thicker blades. Keep in mind that there’s a difference between artificial grass versus artificial turf, with turf consisting of a shorter look while artificial grass is longer and more closely resembles real grass.

Whether building a playground or installing a pre-made one is more affordable depends on the materials of each. In most cases, it’s more affordable to build a wooden playground than it is to buy one and have it professionally installed, but it might be less expensive to invest in a pre-made plastic playground, even if you pay a professional to install it. Wooden playgrounds tend to last longer, but as children age, they will become less valuable. Overall, it may be most affordable to have a pro install a pre-made plastic playground.

Yes! It’s always a good idea to anchor your playset. Even though they’re heavy, it doesn’t take much wind to blow one over. Anchoring everything to the ground makes it a lot safer for your kiddos.
