"Josh and Katie worked very well with us through the whole process. They did a full remodel of our kitchen and it came out very nice. The people he has working for him were professional and very clean with their work. The granite guys even notified our neighbor because they were going to be cutting granite and their window was open. Very happy with the overall process of the work. Would recommend to my friends."

"Perfect experience. Very knowledgeable. Miscellaneous repairs were done first and I was very pleased. As a result, I had them design and build a beautiful pergola for my back patio. Highly recommended for both small and larger jobs."

"I spoke with Matt and arranged for Jeff to come out and put together our brand new patio set. Jeff came on time and the price was fair for the job. I highly recommend All Pro handyman services and would call them again for our handyman needs!"

Kitchen and Bathroom Remodel questions, answered by experts

Most codes require 15 inches on either side of the toilet's centerline (from the wall or vanity) and at least 21 to 24 inches between the toilet and the wall in front of it. These codes ensure that your toilet is easy to use and access, even in small bathrooms. Check your local building codes for the exact measurements required.

Adding a bedroom can increase a home’s value more than adding a bathroom, but it varies with factors like the location, age, and condition of the home. However, remember that you might also need to add a bathroom to the home, depending on how many bedrooms and bathrooms you currently have.

When working on your bathroom floor tiling, you should always tile the floor first and then refit the toilet afterward. This has both practical and visual advantages—the tile will have a better seal, and the installation will look cleaner.

On the other hand, when you try to cut the tiles to fit around the toilet, you’re putting yourself at a disadvantage. It’s a lot more work, it’s hard to be precise, and mistakes or miscalculations can lead to future moisture damage to the tiling, grout, and subfloor.

Yes, you can put a bathroom in a bump-out. Some homeowners build a bump-out to enhance their bathrooms with new sinks, vanities, tubs, showers, or linen closets. Depending on the layout of your bathroom and what you’re adding to it, you may need to install new plumbing or reroute your existing plumbing lines.

In general, the term powder room refers to the same thing as the term half bath and describes a bathroom with a toilet and a sink. Usually, the official term used in real estate listings is a powder room, but the two terms are interchangeable.
