"Gabriel did a professional job on my utility trailer. It needed some repairs along with installation of several accessories. After explaining what I needed done he had some suggestions on some different techniques to overcome some obstacles I had with my ideas. Top notch work and communication. He was on time and his rig if fully capable. I have in in my contacts and will recommend him to anyone that needs some welding done. Dennis"

"Eager to please with my custom design. They brought out part of the fence with the design I requested. They wanted to make sure it was what I wanted before they went any further They gave me an estimated time of how long it would take to manufacture the fence. I came home one day. There they were installing the entire fence. They went way beyond my expectations. Their workmanship is fantastic. They are easy to work with."

"Mike and helper nice people but work was not professional and had I not been there the cabinet hardware would have been installed incorrectly. Mike did not communicate well with helper so mistakes were made until Mike would do the task himself. They did not like me present while they were working but after the first mistakes I didn’t feel comfortable leaving. I didn’t have them finish the cabinets because they were complaining about having to do cabinets and how difficult it is on older ones."

"It went great. He was on time & prompt. Work was completed in a timely manor. Windows were so clean I almost walked into my sliding glass door. The solar panels looked great. I would hire him again & recommend to anyone that needs his service."

"He was a younger man that came out with his dad. He was very quick, efficient, and thorough. He gave me a quick turnaround on the estimate. His prices were a little higher than I initially hoped for, but he was willing to work on me on that a little bit. However, my gut instinct was that maybe he was promising a little bit more than he was going to do, but overall, he sounded like somebody that have good energy and that would actually do the job."

Install Stair Railings questions, answered by experts

The overhang, or nosing, of deck steps is another area that will be covered in building code requirements. The noses on your deck steps should have a minimum overhang of ¾ inch. For safety, usability, and code compliance, the nosing of deck steps should not extend past 1¼ inches.

The time it takes to install a spiral staircase depends on whether you choose a kit or a custom design. Prefabricated kits can often be installed in as little as one to two days, while custom or complex installations may take several days to a week, especially if structural modifications are necessary.

There are a lot of ways you can get your basement stairs looking nice, but the best options are installing laminate plank flooring or painting the risers, staining the treads, and installing a carpet runner. Vinyl flooring is less involved but will be more expensive, and both options are suitable for most DIYers.

Although many types of railing can be fairly easy to install, cable and rope railing systems are probably the easiest. All you need to do is string them through and secure them. Barring those choices, panel railings that are pre-cut to the required size can also be very simple to DIY.

A handrail should start at the bottom step's riser and extend to the top riser, continuing slightly beyond both the top and bottom steps if possible. A good rule of thumb is from the nosing of the upper landing to the nosing of the lowest step. This extra length provides better grip and safety when entering or exiting the staircase.
