"They were able to come out the very next day to cut my granite countertop for my new cooktop to fit. Then, they installed the new cooktop. They did a great job on cleanup as well! The price was reasonable, and I will definitely use them again."

"Tiffany designed our exquisite smart kitchen and family room. She listened to our priorities and delivered thorough designs that made a nearly impossible small space function properly, with great astetics. I sought 3 designers with their vision boards and Tiffany’s was complete and favored a realistic fully functioning work, dining and gathering home center. As challenges arose with construction, she provided advice and collaborated with all tradesmen as well. She became our champion liaison with a prickly project manager. Her timely responsiveness meant lightning fast texts, calls, emails, and house visits. The evolution of her design for layout and colors brought options for cabinetry, countertops, flooring, painting, tile, lighting, furniture, fabrics (so many!), wallpaper, floating shelves, window treatments and specialty glass. She provided numerous choices sensitive to practicality and budget. She assisted with providing tradespeople for specialty tasks, three that grace our home: fabulous faux painting making a simple beam looked carved, a tricky specialty glass door opening, and voice activated lighting system powered by Lutron. Tiffany’s thorough follow through, intuition, reliability, creativity, dedication, patience, and infectious positive mindset made her the perfect match for us. Her client analysis skills are rare. And she is affordable."

"Mark Fry is a craftsman.   He fill with epoxy all joints and cracked woods.   He stripped paint to bare wood and sanded, cut-to-fit new birch panels between the stretchers.   When finished,  he sealed the bench with teak finish.    It is beautifully restored,  ready for another 100 years of use.

Granite Restoration questions, answered by experts

Sweep daily, use appropriate cleaners, and avoid abrasive tools to maintain the shine.

To properly maintain natural stone surfaces, use pH-neutral cleaners for regular cleaning and avoid acidic substances that can cause damage or etching. It is also important to reseal the surfaces periodically, especially for porous stones, to protect the finish, maintain appearance, and ensure longevity.

Yes, baking soda does shine marble. Sprinkle it directly on the marble and let it sit for about five minutes, then wipe it clean with a damp microfiber cloth. If you’d like to make a baking soda paste, then simply mix the baking soda with equal parts water and apply it. You can also add baking soda and dishwashing liquid to a bucket of warm water and mop a marble surface.

The best cleaning method to use for your project will depend on the specifics of that project. However, sandblasting does come with the risk of damaging the surface you’re trying to clean. One safer alternative to sandblasting is laser cleaning, which can remove many of the same contaminants with a lower risk of damage and a lower overall cost.

You can cut granite countertops after installing them, but you need to consider the mess it will make. Dust will be everywhere, and lots of protective gear will be required. On top of that, you will need to measure meticulously to make sure the cuts you make are perfect; otherwise, you’ll be stuck having to replace the entire slab of granite, which is a much bigger job.
