"We recently had Mega Power Electric Inc install a solar system and panels. The President and provided excellent communication all the way through the process. He even met with us after installation to explain the almost incomprehensible PG&E bill. Although not the least expensive bid, his was competitive and I felt he was as interested in educating me about solar and the various types of panels and inverter systems as he was in selling a system. He demonstrated how the array of panels would meet our energy needs and as opposed to some of the other companies, wasn't selling us more than we needed. I am happy to report that the originally installed blinds on my rental property installed back in June, 2015 that did not allow for the 7 windows to open from the inside to be cleaned as designed has been replaced on Feb. 26, 2016 at no charge. And they look great. The service person (Steve) was professional, answered my questions and worked from 9:00am-2:00pm straight through. Although it took some time to eventually come to an agreement with the owner (Shannon  Cocagne) on how we should proceed finanically, I found Shannon in the end was reasonable and very nice and wanted to work with us to make this a good experience overall for us as her valued customer. In the end, we were able to get the blinds we wanted and the windows replaced at no additional cost. "     In order to complete to layout design I submitted a drawing of the room as well as a series of photos.  The website for Homemade design has a questionaire what helps define your overall tastes in design.  I joined Pinterest and started boards for furniture, lighting, bookshelves which were reviewed.  Homemade design comes to New York periodically to meet with clients not in the Boston area and this gave us a chance to meet and select furniture and upholstery at the New York Design center.  This is an extra charge but well worth it since I was completely overwhelmed.  They were extremely patient and guided me through the process.  At one point I decided to move the television which turned out to be a bad idea -- they explained why it would not worked and I concurred competely after I understood the reasons.  So, they are not afraid to tell you if you going down the wrong road. I live in a New York City townhouse and forget that I do not have a whol lot of space even though my house is huge for NYC. So, I had to be told how to "scale" everything to the space we had to work with, which was helpful
I purchased the service several months ago but was not ready to actually decide on the actual purchases until recently. So, the delay in completion is because of my schedule.  I now hope to finish everything by September.
