"He spent 3 days in my house. My house is old and built in 60's. The last house in the neighborhood. Pipes were old and no drain especially to my house all went to the city pipe. I want to recommend him very highly. Pricing was very reasonable to all of the work he do. I would recommend him to anyone who ask. He is wonderful and polite. The two people who work with him was also polite. All of them are extremely polite."

"The Groundworks folks (formerly Bay Area Underpinning) applied their foundation-underpinning technology and expertise to extend to bedrock, level, square up the foundation for an extensive house remodel. I was most impressed by the young man onsite supervisor, Josh who answered all my work done, how and why questions. I wish this info was provided up front by the estimator. (My design-build remodel contractor referred this company)."

"I was very fortunate to find E Mays Plumbing. I had a terrible water heater and Eric was the only plumber that gave me a easy to find list of materials at home depot along staying in communication with me leading up to the project. When the job was finished my new installed water heater worked perfectly and there was no mess to clean. Eric also pointed out a issue I had with my washer water outlet box which was leaking and beginning to deteriorate which is likely to save me money down the road."

"He has been to my house many times, fixed dishwasher/garbage disposal, cheaper and more professional than other guys who have come out in fixing pipe/water issues. He helped fix the sprinklers outside and hung up some doors for me.
He is always there within the half hour, available and answers his phone anytime, friendly and respectful/professional.
Pretty affordable, although the only thing I didn't have him do was install a new water heater because he quoted $1000 , I went and bought one myself for $350 and paid a friend 100$ to install it. I'm not sure if he would have done something differently , but the new water heater has been working great the way my friend did it, and only took less than an hour to put in. It's always good to shop around when you can, but for most things durrel @ 3d plumbing seems to be very affordable.

"I misunderstood that Bio Safety was NOT going to complete repairs; instead, they ripped out carpet and drywall, primed areas they didn't rip out with mold resistant primer, and left me to hire a handyman to complete drywall and ceiling repairs. His crew couldn't answer many questions, and some answers were guesses which the owner contradicted when asked later. I asked the Bio Safety to check the attic but I was told that wouldn't be necessary. Instead, the handyman went into the attic and found more mold, a leak in the roof and other issues which he repaired immediately."

Drain Pipe Installation questions, answered by experts

Yes, you can use hydrogen peroxide to unclog a drain. Instead of using a baking soda and vinegar solution, you can use baking soda with hydrogen peroxide. The process to unclog a drain is the same as with vinegar, but use 1 cup of hydrogen peroxide instead.

Professional plumbers use many high-grade chemicals to unclog drains. Many use hydrochloric acid, known as muriatic acid, when it comes to extreme blockages.

If your dishwasher isn’t draining, some common causes include a clogged drain filter, drain hose, or air gap. Also, if you have a garbage disposal, a clog in the disposal can back up your dishwasher since they share plumbing, as can a clog in your kitchen sink’s plumbing. A handy DIYer may be able to figure out how to unclog a dishwasher, but you may need to call in a plumber if you can’t locate and clear the clog yourself.

Yes, you can pour water down the toilet to help it flush. For each flush, you’ll need 1 to 2 gallons of water for newer toilets or 3 to 5 gallons of water for older toilets. Rather than dumping the entire bucket in all at once, pour the water in slowly for the best results. If you’re pouring water down the toilet to help it flush after a clog, only use 1 gallon of hot water.

Regardless of the drain cleaner type you choose to use, they all work through chemical reactions that create heat. Thanks to the heat, the clogged hair begins to dissolve until it is able to be flushed away. To avoid clogs in your drain due to hair, use hair catchers and empty them out after every shower.
