"Jason arrived on time.  After checking the area, he told us that the meter readings were showing very slight mold readings.  He suggested that we remove the baseboards and wipe the walls down with a bleach solution.  He told us the smell we had in the closet where the mold problem originated was due to the shellac we had used to seal the wood after we removed the damaged sheetrock and repaired the leaking pipe.  He said the smell would eventually dissipate.  He also suggested that we replace the carpet in the room next to the closet as the padding and carpet were wet and were also showing slight mold readings.
