We have oak floor throughout the floor part of the stairs and we were thinking we were gonna use in the upstairs hallway and he said, and ldquo;Consider just carpeting the whole thing, it would cost a lot less and I think you'll like it just as well. If you don't, you can always take the carpet off and put in the wood later if that's really what you want to do.and rdquo; I think we made a good choice just to do what he said. Good - the carpet is great and they did a fantastic job on the installation. It looks wonderful.

The only annoying thing is that they charge extra for everything, including $100 a room to move and replace your furniture. That seemed like a lot. We are seniors and can't move it ourselves, and $100 for both rooms would have seemed more reasonable. But the installers were excellent - they did everything right and cleaned up after themselves nicely.
