"Above and beyond.... VERY PLEASED... Fair price, excellent work, good equipment, prefessional operation.. Was considering doing it myself which would have been a HUGE mistake. Not only did they take down the big tree, they went above and beyond and cleaned up the branches and leaves that had fallen on the patio cover and blocked the skylights. Then on top of that, they made some quick cuts on another tree that was growing wildly near the one taken down. To put the icing on the job, the stump was ground up very well and the ground leveled. ZERO complaints, and to make it easier they were advanced and took Zelle and Venmo. I'm very detail oriented and hard to please butJaime and the crew were frist class."

"I haven't had our trees trimmed since prepandemic. Avina Tree Service came in same day with a large crew and topped and trimmed 6 junipers and removed the offshoot babies on 6 sego palms in little over an hour and the place was spotless when they left. In most cases, you should not use a pruning seal on trees after trimming. Applying a sealant can interfere with the tree's natural healing process, and it does not guarantee protection from pathogens. In these specific situations, the protection offered by a sealant can outweigh its downsides. Deciduous shade trees (the type of trees whose leaves fall off in autumn) need to be pruned in late winter—between February and March. That’s because it’s easier to find and remove sick or dead branches when no leaves are present. And wounds close and heal faster in colder temperatures so pruning them at this time also makes them less prone to infection.

It’s not as common for Dutch elm disease to affect other types of trees, especially if the surrounding trees aren’t elms. However, it is possible for DED to spread to other trees, particularly in northern states, like Minnesota.
