"Noel and his helper showed up on time and brought in their equipment, protecting the floor area around the sink with a large mat. He patiently worked to break down the clog, which was extensive and sludgy. After the clog was fixed, he checked for leaks and cleaned up thoroughly, leaving the area looking and smelling nice again."

"Ricardo came by to check out toilets, sinks, showers and baths in a loft my company rented out. He pointed all the necessary repairs for the time we stayed there. He also pointed out issues that could possibly come out in the near future,as well if issues weren't addressed. He went above and beyond when he was available and if a part was needed, he got back to me in a timely manner. I highly recommend that everyone use this company."

"Louie Martinez from ASo plumbing has been my plumber for many years. We manage several properties in LA. He always picks up his phone and tries to fix our plumbing issues the same day if it is an emergency. Which has happened to me many times. He is very professional, skilled and reliable. He has maintained and fixed our water heaters. Replaced and installed 2 new water heaters. Fixed faucets. Maintains our instant water heater. Fixed leaks. I can’t say enough good things about Louie and I am so glad he is my plumber! I highly recommend him!!"

"Art was extremely helpful and accommodating at every step of the project, from bidding through scheduling and even some additional work we needed a few weeks later. The team worked efficiently, doing a new main line install (going under our sidewalk and concrete without any demolition), re-piped the horizontal pipes under the house with copper (they were 100 year old galvanized), and setup a new shut off and regulator outside. They did everything in a day and cleaned up nicely. When we had other contractors working on our foundation 2 weeks later, they bent over backwards to get plumbers out the next day to make some fixes to drain pipe and at an excellent price. I got quotes from three companies and Repipe Pro was the most competitive and also great responsiveness from Art and his wife Thelma who run the business. To anyone looking for a repipe of a home or new main line or having drain work done, I definitely recommend contacting Art at Repipe Pro."

Sink Installation questions, answered by experts

Yes, a toilet, sink, and shower can share the same vent. This is a common installation method that can simplify plumbing and save space. However, there are important considerations. The vent and associated plumbing must be large enough to handle the demands of all fixtures without compromising the vent's effectiveness. Additionally, the toilet should always be located downstream of all other fixtures. Because requirements can vary and space might be limited, it is essential to check your local building and plumbing codes and consult with a qualified plumber to ensure the installation is done correctly.

The biggest sign that your flange leaks is if you notice water at the base of the toilet. The cause is likely due to a poor flange installation, so you might have issues with loose bolts, an uneven flange, or a cracked plastic flange. Add a deteriorating wax seal to this, and you have a recipe for disaster. The best solution is to shut off the water valve, replace the toilet flange, and seal it with a new wax ring.

Porcelain and enamel sinks have very similar appearances, but they aren’t the same. Porcelain is a ceramic made from natural clay, while enamel is a strong powder that’s glazed over a metal sink. Use a magnet to determine whether you have an enamel or porcelain sink. If a strong magnet sticks to the sink, it’s likely enamel. If it doesn’t, you probably have a porcelain sink. You can also use the model number on the sink (often found on the underside of the bowl) or information from the manufacturer to determine the material.

Clean regularly with non-abrasive cleaners, avoid pouring grease down the drain, and check for leaks under the sink.

Depending on the issue and materials, costs range from $150 to $500.
