  Great people with reasonable costs for the service. They arrived at our home in Chowchilla, CA early and were completed early afternoon. Our neighbors homes and driveways were very close to these trees. They were cautious roping off the branches to avoid them from striking our house or the neighbors. We were concerned about damage that could have been cause to the driveways next to each tree stump but their new stump remover is state of the art. They have the required tools, service trucks, trailers, and quot;tree branch grindersand quot; and stump removal equipment. I plan to pass on their business cards. We were a little surprised (good work) and are very satisfied with Anderson's Tree Service. We have a difficult time sometimes finding contractors in our area or that will travel to our area. Our first time using Angie's List and we plan to have more work done at our home....will return to Angie's list for help. Thanksshow more

  It was a long process. We started around May with all the removal of the old lawn and then the concrete. The synthetic turf took a while to install because the distributer didn't have what we wanted, and when it was put in the first time, there was a seam (which Evergreen wanted to change- not us!). So, to have it replaced again took more time. Once the turf was in, the rest of the yard came together very quickly. The yard was officially finished on 10/6/15. Bob takes his time, but it is because he is a perfectionist. And, really he worked with us and our budget because the synthetic turf is significantly more expensive than regular turn. We went in phases due to the budget issues, so that also slowed it down. However, it was 100% worth the time and money. We love the yard. People think the turf is real. I often find neighbors, visitors, etc, walking around barefoot on the turf to try it out. My son and dogs LOVE it. It turned out exactly how I wanted, within the budget we expected, and I can't wait until spring to really finish my planting. Bob has also started on our backyard, and we hopefully will finish that next spring (waiting on some rain since we will use real grass)show more

  Juan Berra is the contact person. He's probably too busy to take the job. They are an artist in landscaping. They are reasonable, terrific and they couldn't have been any better. The amount that I spent seemed reasonable to inexpensive. They were spectacular. I can't even imagine somebody being compared to him in his creativity, the person that he is and the cost being reasonable for everything that he did.   Juan and his crew built a very nice and sturdy fence around our acre lot backyard. He had brought me three estimates, and my ex-husband picked the cheapest one. Juan very graciously added hardware and custom trim that was not part of the estimate. His crew did our lawn maintenance for the 6 years that I was there and continues to do the landscaping and maintenance there for a total of about 12-13 years.   Initially, looked like a fair job, but later came the headache. The patio was two inched too high of the ground. Which was not in the plan. They did a shabby job relocating my sprinkers and never replaced my drains and so the back yard flooded and later the sprinkers didnt work because they left broken sprinklers that they did not tell me about. I didnt find out til later because it was winter then and I didn't turn on the sprinkler system until after the job was done. Right after the work was done I called a few times to ask them to come back and follow up and they never responded. Never. They did some landscaping in the side of my house too during the same time and cracked a pipe while putting in the rocks that has to be repaired. This flooded my front lawn because it water ran to the front lawn. I didn't even bother to call them because they never respond. Do not hire this company. Absolutely horrible follow up. Never even called after the job was done to see how things were. And I was a good customer I paid right on time and even paid over. Which they later reembursedshow more

  It was going along ok , until our youngest needed open heart surgery. We needed to temporarily suspend service until he completed surgery / recovery . I enclosed a note with our monthly check asking to suspend our service for a few months . Well the check was cashed so we knew he got the note . When they arrived later that month I called and requested they hold off for a few months . My attention was fixated on my son , so we were surprised when we received a letter from a collection service to pay our outstanding balance + additional fees . I called and only received a message machine . After numerous attempts to contact the owner we received a summons to appear in small claims. We wound up pays off the debt and learned a valuable lesson . Always check with others in your community regarding a persons moral values .... or if they have any at all show more
