Project went pretty much on schedule, David (3D)created graphics so we could see how the yard would look. The end result was what we saw in the designs he created. 3D has contractors that he recommends to finish the job as created and timely. He works with your ideas and your pocketbook.
Do's
1. Use 3D Design, he is really good about being available and keeping the project going.
2. Use the contractors he recommends and he usually works with. The only problem contractor was the one who built the patio coverings, the end result was wonderful but he had problems following the plan 3D provided.
3. Be involved in the process, actually you won't have a choice for this one. 3D and the contractors will give you suggestions for colors, sizes, minor changes and additions. But you will have the final decision.
Don'ts
1. As far as 3D's part in the process I cannot think of anything negative to say.
2. And if you worked with contractors before you know they kind of work on their own schedule, these were pretty good as to getting the job done and being responsive.
"First let me say that over a year after being involved in this project I am surprised and sorry to hear that the Anaya's are apparently having difficulty retaining contractors and feel the need to place blame on us. I don't really know how to respond to this for two reasons...the first, in over 35 years I've never have found myself in this position and secondly I'm personally disappointed because we took on this project motivated only to try and help these people that no one else apparently wanted to or able to. As the amount clearly indicates we just charged straight administrative fees as almost considering this a pro-bono project, two facts that need to be clarified in answer to the false allocations, one is our virtual construction designs are 100% to scale and also two we received less than $450.00 which was merely to cover fuel and administrative cost. In regards to scale we made numerous attempts to have a phone conversation or meet with them in person to explain they were looking at line of sight perspective however the client continuously declined to meet or a phone call for clarification of that. Also the full service necessary was not completed at the request of this client, which includes paper detailed scale plans in conjunction with the virtual scale designs for a full comprehensive better understood project bidding process. Our position is always and still is with our clients, we are always available to discuss any confusion or misunderstanding with our very unique services. In closing we feel confident in our promise to each and every client of promises made promises kept, and again wish the Anaya's success with there project endeavors and are sorry to hear things are not going well for them. If anyone would like to see the project services provided for this client we will provide them at any time."
