"We would like to acknowledge the outstanding job that Roland Benavidez, the owner of Certified Electric, did in installing a backup generator at our home. This was a complex generator installation of a 22KW Generac generator. We had a 400 amp meter main that required two transfer switches and Five SMM devices. I requested that this be a turnkey project including all aspects of the job. Roland spent significant time doing the electrical design and calculations, he took responsibility for getting the required permits from the City of Lincoln, and approvals from our HOA. He exhibited skills in addition to electrical work including moving irrigation lines, making gas connections, concrete removal and reinstall, and stucco patching. The installation was done very neatly. Roland was professional, knowledgeable, competent, and honest. We felt very at ease leaving the premises while he and his team worked. I googled Chico electricians and called the first several I found (with no response). I called RW electric and they said they happened to be in the area and were at my house the SAME DAY. He searched for the problem which ended up being several power sources tied to an old timer. He fixed the problem (that had my contract of 40+ years stumped) in a matter of hours. He showed up promptly, professionally, and was very friendly. I would have recommended him to anyone after that first experience. BUT, then about a month later, I had another electrical problem that I could figure out. I called Robert and again he showed up that SAME DAY. He fixed the problem within a half hour then told me that he couldn't even charge me for it because it was such a simple fix. I cannot recommend strongly enough that you call RW electric.
