"Asher and his team delivered the job on time and met our discussed estimates budget! They included my wife and I in the decision making process from beginning to end. They were respectful and a pleasure to work with and completely trustworthy. I would recommend them to friends and family without hesitation. -R"

"We love our cabinets! They look fantastic while remaining affordable. The friendly staff at AWD helped us from start to finish. They are very knowledgeable and gave us advice and tips when needed. They were receptive and patient with our ever-changing needs. Once we finalized our purchase, we received our cabinets within two weeks! The cabinets are very sturdy and the color is beautiful. The hinges and hardware are high quality. We are extremely pleased with AWD and would recommend them to any friends or family looking for good cabinets at a fair price."

"I initially called to replace one sliding closet door panel and to adjust 2 closets with older tracks and doors that kept falling off. The first crew that came measured and photographed the panel to be replaced, and manipulated the other closets a bit to get them back on track.  Unfortunately, the closets needed a bit more repair to get them back to normal working condition. When I spoke with the office to confirm order of my replacement panel, I explained that the closets still needed to be adjusted. A couple of weeks later the panel had arrived and was ready to be installed. The owner came to install the panel himself, and did the adjustment I needed on the other closets. This was not a big job, nor a difficult one, and I really appreciated him coming himself to see how he could remedy my problem.  He certainly wanted to be sure I was happy with their service. Their pricing was more than fair, and I would definitely call them again if I have any need for sliding doors.

"We purchased our house a while back and we were looking to improve some spots at the house. The first part that we wanted to remodel was the 2 bedrooms (the master bedroom and another room). We wanted to replace the carpet with a new and modern wood floor and to remodel the closet b adding several shelfs and hangers. In the master bedroom we wanted to remodel the room completely by doing our walk-in closet and do a nice paint work and replacing the door that takes us to the balcony. Several companies came over and looked at the work that we want to do and after we completed the ‘interviews’… we decided to hire Cielo construction. Sam from Cielo construction came back and provided us with additional information about the materials, type of paint, closets and the other items. His schedule of work was great too because he included 2 teams of workers at the house and by doing that, the remodeling will be completed faster. His workers did appear each day 5 days a week and worked full time. The remodeling was completed less than 2 weeks and everything was done according to the plan. Sam was very flex with us in regards to the payments as well. He divided the amount by the tasks and it worked out very good for us.The balcony door that we did was wider and added a better noise reduce feature that help us sleep better. The paint job that was done by his workers came out better than we imagined and the color combination that Sam recommended us was good too. Overall we are very pleased with Sam and the workers. They did a great job and we will hire them in the future."

Closets questions, answered by experts

Tiny house living requires creative solutions to the one biggest issue: space. Many people in tiny houses find life most manageable if they practice minimalism. Eliminating excess items and clutter makes the living space feel bigger, which can be a significant mood booster. It can also be challenging to get utilities arranged for a tiny house, and building and zoning codes can and often do present unique challenges to overcome.

Walk-in closets are always the biggest and can easily be more than 100 square feet. Primary bedroom closets, even if not walk-ins, are the second largest category in most homes and sit between 30 and 80 square feet. Linen closets, utility closets, and built-in closets are smaller and, depending on their usage, tend to be between 10 and 50 square feet.

A foyer or entryway is typically a formal landing area for guests, located at the primary entrance of a home. It is often more formally decorated and connects directly to the main living space. In contrast, a mudroom is a more casual, utilitarian room, usually leading in from a secondary entrance like a garage or the side or rear of the house. It serves as a space for residents to remove shoes and outerwear to keep mud, dirt, and water out of the main home.

The vertical space between closet shelves depends on what you're storing. For clothing like shirts and sweaters, 10 to 12 inches is enough. Towels and linens need 12 to 15 inches, while tall storage bins may require 18 inches or more. Overcrowding your shelves can reduce accessibility and increase clutter, so be sure to leave breathing room for your items.

Most packing services take 4-12 hours, while unpacking may take 1-2 days, depending on volume.
