"We are extremely happy with the work done by Marco and his team. The work included demolition of old landscaping, concrete around pool, shallowing out of the pool and the old irrigation system, followed by installation of new plants, new concrete, new plaster, tile and coping around the pool, a new dog area, new fencing and new irrigation. Marco is very knowledgeable about all areas of this work. He is also an excellent designer. He and his team are punctual, professional and always clean up after each day’s work. He is very cost conscious and was very patient with us during the numerous changes we requested from the original plan. Only the pool work was subcontracted out but Marco oversaw that work as well. We could not be more happy with the results. He is perhaps a bit more expensive than other landscapers but it was well worth the money."

In June of 2014, Down aunder Services landscaped our entire backyard (almost a third of an acre), transforming a rocky, dirt-filled wasteland into a gorgeous, lush space with a tiered hill and grass. WOW! We loved it so much that we signed up for their maintenance (gardening) services as well and most recently hired them again for our front yard. The prices are also extremely reasonable and I appreciated the open lines of communication. They finish every job on time and are very transparent about costs and expectations. We are moving to a new home and will be calling Warren again for all of our future landscaping needs there as well.

"Richard and his crew showed up on time, which is important to me. They also spoke English, another plus in my book. I asked him to replace a head or two that were non-functioning and to adjust the entire system, as the Angies List deal called for. He did a fine job replacing the heads, but I was not satisfied with the overall "tune-up." I still had some areas that had poor coverage after Richard did his work. I gave him another chance several months later to adjust them again, and still got dry areas. A landscaping crew I hired later told me the dry areas could be fixed with sprinkler heads that released water from two angles, one on top the other. Apparently the existing heads were shooting water too high, reaching areas five feet away but missing grass that was close to the head. The new heads watered both the near and far areas. I never knew these type of heads existed, but that is the expertise I expect when I hire someone from Angies List. Why did Richard not recommend these heads? To be completely honest, I am uncertain if these new heads work as they should. I guess I'll find out when warmer weather arrives. If you have no problems with your sprinkler coverage but need to replace broken heads, Richard is professional, courteous, and will do a fine job. But if you have coverage problems as I did, I cannot recommend him.

Because the living room wall is shared with the garage they were able to cut into the sheetrock thru the garage side and I didn't need to touch up any paint on the interior side. Additionally, a ceiling fan was installed."
