Cheryl Vines is the Owner & Interior Designer of Mesa Design Group. She received her formal education from the University of California Riverside, and has over 17 years of experience. Cheryl is a member of the American Society of Interior Designers (ASID), National Kitchen and Bath Association (NKBA) and has worked on many projects from custom closets to complete remodels. The most rewarding project was the 11,000 square foot renovation of the Ronald McDonald House, in Loma Linda, California, which she was the Project Manager/Interior Designer. Her style ranges from contemporary to traditional and she pays particular attention to three critical elements to achieve a harmonious interior: Scale in selecting architectural details and furnishings, lighting whether it is natural or artificial and a lustrous color Palette.\n\nCheryl Vines is a Certified Hunter Douglas Professional, she is the Hunter Douglas designer for The Home Depot's on the Central Coast! \n

"We recently had Mega Power Electric Inc install a solar system and panels. The President and provided excellent communication all the way through the process. He even met with us after installation to explain the almost incomprehensible PG&E bill. Although not the least expensive bid, his was competitive and I felt he was as interested in educating me about solar and the various types of panels and inverter systems as he was in selling a system. He demonstrated how the array of panels would meet our energy needs and as opposed to some of the other companies, wasn't selling us more than we needed. "Everything turned out fine. When it first arrived, it was damaged in the shipping. It took them quite a while to get something back to us, or even to call me back when I wrote to them. But then, once they got the ball rolling, it went very quickly. It took them probably about a month to even get back to me. The price was very good. "     In order to complete to layout design I submitted a drawing of the room as well as a series of photos.  The website for Homemade design has a questionaire what helps define your overall tastes in design.  I joined Pinterest and started boards for furniture, lighting, bookshelves which were reviewed.  Homemade design comes to New York periodically to meet with clients not in the Boston area and this gave us a chance to meet and select furniture and upholstery at the New York Design center.  This is an extra charge but well worth it since I was completely overwhelmed.  They were extremely patient and guided me through the process.  At one point I decided to move the television which turned out to be a bad idea -- they explained why it would not worked and I concurred competely after I understood the reasons.  So, they are not afraid to tell you if you going down the wrong road. I live in a New York City townhouse and forget that I do not have a whol lot of space even though my house is huge for NYC. So, I had to be told how to "scale" everything to the space we had to work with, which was helpful
I purchased the service several months ago but was not ready to actually decide on the actual purchases until recently. So, the delay in completion is because of my schedule.  I now hope to finish everything by September.
