"The owner initially came to my home to assess the work I needed to have done. He is very knowledgeable about landscaping. The time he spent upfront was greatly appreciated as he fully understood to my landscaping needs. He had great ideas on how to replant a tree, recommend how to control grubs and how to properly care for specific plants. Once the project began the owner was no longer involved. In fact, I never saw him again. In addition to his landscaping services I had him give me a bid for painting my new fence and yard fence. The painting itself was very nicely done however, the worker(s) were careless and left several oil based paint spots damaging 15-20 of my brand new pavers. When I addressed this with The Owner he replied via email his worker(s) told him they didn’t do it. I provided pictures of the pavers as proof to substantiate my claim. The Owner had his lead come by our home to fix a sprinkler head that was covered during sod repair and to remove these stains. When I reached out to The Owner again he solely relied upon his lead who promptly told him the oil based paint stains were removed. The stains still remain, I’ve contacted my pavers company who clearly stated “oil based paint cannot be removed!” It became blatantly obvious the owner was siding with employee. In fact, The Owner not once has stepped foot on my property since he took the bid. He never came to oversee the project and all contact with him has been via email or text. Lastly, we were in agreement to plant a new tree. As of this review, I have never heard back and there was never any follow up as to when this would be done. I really had high hopes In the beginning and I am very disappointed in The Owner’s project management. He appears to be knowledgeable but my recommendation is that he needs to manage his team, stay closer to the project and make an attempt to do a final walk through. Lastly his hourly bill rate was inconsistent vs. negotiated. Hourly rate doubled for final day of painting which I regretfully paid."

We had very specific problems we needed addressed, flooding in the back yard, we are on a very busy corner so we wanted protection against drivers ending up in our bedroom, privacy in our front bedroom, we have a telephone pole in our back yard, a pool we want to feel private even though we live across from the high school, and three kids who need space. They designed a stunning front and back yard that addressed all our issues. Even took into account our location at the high school and added boulders for kids to wait on so they wouldn't trample my yard! I love succulents and California natives so those were used throughout. A rotation of plants were utilized as well so even in the winter we have nice colors through our yard. They are a joy to work with and skilled in their craft. Their attention to detail and practical knowledge yields amazing results that you can enjoy for years."

We had the design plans, and Carlos took them and quickly came back with a reasonable quote and schedule for the work. What I loved most was that I didn't have to do any project management. "Gomer Basave brought a team of three to four men to construct a 180 foot trench for proper drainage from the landscaped garden to the back of the property. It took six days to build the trench as well as lay the pipes and test the water flow. Throughout the construction, the team worked hard to create the trench and the work was supervised by visits from Basave to the site. Starting with the estimate and proceeding with the work, Gomer Basave was an approachable, responsible and honest contractor who worked with his team to complete the project. The job was not an easy job but Gomer and his crew worked continuously to create a trench that could transport water away from the house. We greatly appreciated working with Gomer and his crew and hope we have the chance to work with them again on other projects."

Since the owner was in my local area, he was able to visit the site and provide a quote on the same day I called. Even when we changed the planter box height and requested a different type of sod after the initial batch was delivered, Mr. Hoang remained calm and professional throughout.
