Fernando was quick to answer the call and most importantly was available the same day. He estimated his arrival time and was early in a good way. He was friendly and assessed the situation by asking good questions and it didn't take long for him to figure out what was going on. He estimated the project and we felt it was a fair price. Everything is working and we're happy. We hired him again to inspect our other sprinklers and he addressed the faulty ones and installed updated digital WiFi timers. "Four years of ongoing drought in the Inland Empire are of California, with the repressive heat waves of 2015, combined with mandatory state water rationing, have scorched and dessicated the grassy turflands of our front yard.  Our water district started offering turf removal and drought tolerant yard replacement rebates, so we decided to covert our yard for the long term. We primarily chose A.L.L. Environmental Design due to the overwhelmingly positive reviews, which are spot on and accurate, as we would come to find out ourselves!  We met with Nick, who was extremely friendly, to get the initial estimates and package options. His partner, Andy, came up with a pleasing design, with attractive plants that thrive on minimal water and full sun. The plants even produce flowers with nectar that have local butterflies and neighboorhood hummingbirds making daily pitstops, much to the pleasure of my young daughters. Nick, Andy and their expert crew were alway timely, efficient and professional! The entire project only took a few days, with minimal disruption to our daily routines.  The final product, not only passed the water district's rebate specifications, but met and exceeded our imagined and visualized expectations.  The yard looks wonderful with neighbor's giving us compliments on the overall look and layout of our new front yard! Our neigboorhood had some homes chosing to replace their yards with fake plasti-grass and some with drought tolerant plants, however I believe A.L.L. Environmental Design came up with the most natural and attractive option at a price point that we could afford!  I have recommended them to friends and co-workers that are in the process of converting their yards to conserve water and would not hesitate to recommend them for any potential Angie's List members needing yard design and implementation!

"It went perfectly !! I purchased an $80 Comprehensive Sprinkler Tune-Up Special through Angie's list and was contacted a few days later by Roland Zamora of Veterans Landscaping, Inc., to arrange an appointment. Roland was very friendly, reassuring and professional on the phone. On 06/12/'17, Roland came to my home, exactly on time (11:30am as pre-arranged), fully identified himself and with ME in tow, began his inspection. He turned on each of my 8 sprinkler zones and observed their operation. He made notes as we went around, adjusted some of the sprinkler heads right then and there, cleaned out some of the sprinkler heads and made note of 4 soaker heads that were not operating at all in my front flower beds. With ME in tow and asking all kinds of questions, Roland completed his inspection and adjustments and then discussed the replacement of the 4 soaker sprinkler heads. The 4 heads were replaced, a couple of more adjustments made and a couple of more sprinkler heads were cleaned out. Roland did not charge me any extra for the 4 soaker sprinkler heads, even though I offered to pay for them. Roland also set my controller for the exact days and times that I wanted the sprinklers to come on. Roland is very friendly, easy to talk to, very professional, honest, trustworthy, up front and answers every question with full knowledge and professionalism. No question is to insignificant nor to involved for Roland to stop what he's doing and fully answer the question to full understandability. I WILL recommend Roland Zamora of Veterans Landscaping Inc. for sprinkler services and landscaping needs to my family members, friends and neighbors. "I originally called Wilhelm Sprinkler Co because a house I had just purchased had extremely low water pressure to the point my sprinklers weren't functioning.  When they came out, it turned out there was a water pressure regulator that I did not know about that was set too low!  I mentioned landscape lighting and Jorge walked me through the front and back of my house and we discussed various options for placement of lights.

A couple of weeks later, I asked for Jorge to come back out and set up my landscape lighting and he did a great job!  He was really, really diligent and barely even took a break.  9.5 hours and 25 lights and a lot of digging later, it was all done.  And the lights look fantastic!  He showed me how to use the transformer, set and maintain it, and gave me good tips on maintaining the lights and reminded me to inform the gardeners so they wouldn't get damaged. Jorge was also REALLY informative about how many lights you can safely put on a wire, watch our for the wattage of the bulbs I use, and don't max out the transformer.  He seemed genuinely concerned about making sure that after he left I understood what to look out for.  Appreciated that a lot!

The only bad thing if anything was really minor.  They were a bit short on landscape wire, and so some of the lights can't be moved around too much because the wiring is a little bit tight.  But I was able to move things around to my liking with no problems so I wasn't really too bothered by that.

All in all, I am really happy and will always use these guys for irrigation needs going forward.  Highly recommended."
