"Provider cancelled appointment less than 24hrs before scheduled date. Provider stated that he had to cancel because of exhaustion and would need to take some days off of work. I offered my condolences and that I hoped he felt better. I asked if he could reschedule for later in the week. He replied that I should find another handyman to look at the job. It was at this point I got the feeling that he was not interested in the job because it was too small... I was disappointed, I had spoken to him on the phone several times and thought he seemed capable and professional.

I contacted Shaun shortly after closing on our new house because there were several things that needed immediate attention and there were also some things that my wife and I wanted to change prior to moving in. Shaun arrived 10 minutes early to our appointment and listened to what we were looking to have done, plus he offered several ideas of his own to help make our decisions easier. I asked for his quote to be broken down by job since I thought there was a chance we were asking to have more done than we could afford. I received the quote later that day and was pleasantly surprised that I could afford to have everything done. He asked when we would like to start work and I told him the sooner the better since we were waiting for the work to be complete prior to moving into the house. His crew started two days later and after each day they cleaned up any mess that was made. As they were working, my wife and I kept finding other things that we wanted done.
