"I had a very good experience with James and Owens Rain Gutters. I feel I got a really good product at a fair price and James was a real pleasure to work with. He did a thorough inspection prior to making his bid, advised me that there were existing gutters I did not need to replace but that he could match with the new gutters, and satisfactorily answered all my questions. They even added about 150 feet of gutter guard that I supplied for just a very small fee, and I know it took them several extra hours of work. When I did my final inspection, I had a couple of small changes I wanted to make (even though James did exactly what I asked for initially), and he took care of it without question. The only thing that prevents me from giving him a 5-star rating was a scheduling issue that caused a ripple effect with my painting contractor. That said, I would hire him again and recommend his company for your gutter work."

"I had a leak after a strong rainstorm and called them the next day. They were in the area so they came by within minutes of my call. Hector stayed on sight helping me to locate the source of the leak which turned out to be a door molding separation. While he was here, he sealed a vent pipe and the flashing around a chimney. These repairs had nothing to do with the original sealing work I had them do this fall around the chimneys but they stayed until I was completely satisfied that we had address the problem. I highly recommend using them for any roofing or roof repair you may have."

"I am quite happy with the electrical outlet and the bathroom fan, and I would hire him back for electrical work, as I think that is his specialty. His carpentry skills aren't the greatest, but they are not bad either. The first thing I asked was for the medicine cabinet to be centered over the sink, and it is about 1 inch off. At least it is hung level, though! The other disappointment was that he reused my 28-year old hinges and door knob on the new door. Also that the door frame was not cut correctly on one side and is about 2 inches short on one side. This could have been fixed easily by cutting a small piece of the extra wood that was left in my garbage. At least the door seems to be hung properly, though, so it was not a bad job, just not the greatest for the price.
