I confronted Rick about his work ethic and he excused it by saying everything took longer than anticipated. Then I asked him why he didn't show up for 3 days and he came up with some other excuses, one of them being that he got sick...for the second week in a row. The few days rick did show up to work, he was either texting or on the phone with his wife for (with no exaggeration) 50% of the time. Rick brought very few of his own tools, so he used all of mine, which was fine. The part that bothered me was that he left my tools all over the place. I still don?t know where all of them are. He didn't clean up AT ALL. He left Thirstbuster cups all over the place, all the popcorn from the ceilings on the ground, a 2 Little Caesars pizza boxes, multiple candy/chips/etc all over my house (not in trash cans). I even walked in and found a banana peel on the ground, that was left there for 4 days until I picked it up. All in all, I pretty much paid Rick $1250.00 partially scrape the popcorn off my ceilings. Everything else I either did for him because he wouldn't show up to work, or I had to redo (like the paint) because it was so poorly done. Now I'm out $1250.00 (just for labor), , another $650.00 to have a plumber properly install the tub, $400.00+ in extra materials, my time spend (unscrewing all of his f-ups), extra paint, and a ceiling fan. I hate cleaning up after people. You know how the saying goes, \"if you want something done right, you have to do it yourself.\""},"url":"https://www.angi.com/companylist/us/az/yuma/kiddy%27s-construction-reviews-6203812.htm"},"position":3},{"@type":"ListItem","item":{"@type":"LocalBusiness","name":"ARTESIAN POOLS AND SPAS","address":{"@type":"PostalAddress","addressRegion":"AZ","addressCountry":"US"},"review":{"@type":"Review","author":{"@type":"Person","name":"Jorge F."},"reviewBody":"Company was very unprofessional. Owner came out and gave free estimate. He seemed professional and knowledgeable compared to other companies that gave me an estimate. His work crews were very unprofessional. A 3 day job ended up taking a week and a half. Workers chipped up old pool deck and did not clean it up. That night the pool pump clogged up with debris they left in pool and ruined pool pump. Second day they jackhammered section to replace and drove a wooden spike through a sprinkler line that flooded backyard next morning. Next day they did nothing but fix sprinkler line they ruptured and tried to get pool pump running. I tried to contact owner, but he avoided me so I gave his office assistant a letter I wrote expressing my disappointment. On thursday they were a no show, but after receiving my letter and mentioning legal action they showed on friday and poured new concrete. owner assured me they would be done by following wednesday (which they were) and that i would get a new pool pump. They replaced pump with an old pump and couldn't even do that right. The replacement pump leaks. After close examination of their actual work on the deck, it looks ok but they cut the grout out of about 10 tiles on the water line and did not replace it. They never totally finished the job and I don't want them back. We are an excavating company with over 30 years experience. What kind of work do we do? Anything and everything dirt work related. The most common projects would be house pads, site prep, utilities, and road grading. However, we don't just stop there. We do demolition, water distribution, sewer installs, dump truck services and much more. When you call Canyon Edge Excavating LLC you get the owner bidding your project, and more than likely running the tractor. There are no huge overhead inflations with us. Give us a call!
"Canyon Edge demonstrated exceptional attentiveness and understanding throughout the process, showing genuine flexibility with both my budget and scheduling needs. I wholeheartedly recommend their services and fully intend to hire them again for future projects in the seasons and years ahead."
