We looked at a number of options prior to contracting with Re-new, but concluded that the most cost effective and minimum time to get our kitchen completed was refacing our existing cabinets. We went to Re-Newâ s showroom and received a detailed explanation of their process and products. After the initial meeting at the showroom an in-home visit was completed to evaluate our kitchen and provide a detailed price quote. We added some additional extras to the project which included a wine rack, spice rack and conversion of a lazy Susan to 3 pull out drawers. All of them exceeded our expectations. We also decided to replace all the counter tops the granite and Re-new provided great guidance with their granite vendors on the proper selection of color and type. Communication was superior with Re-new with periodic updates on the project progress and coordination of the various trades that were to show up at our house. The owners of the business, Robert and Arlette Lenzi are a pleasure to work with and take a personal involvement in the entire process. Communication with their office staff, both Joe and Emily did a superior job with keeping us up-to-date with all the moving pieces of our project. We would highly recommend Re-new if you are considering completing a refacing project."

"I contacted many contractors for this job. I was amazed, even starting with the bid process how a builder can turn you off. Sam Coffey was honest, thorough, wrote up a detailed cost analysis and was easy to deal with. I had dreaded doing this project. A 1970s bathroom had to be demolished and replaced with shower stall, cabinets, tiling for shower and floors and all the other fixtures like faucets, lights etc. Sam estimated 3-4 weeks. It was 4 weeks exactly. Sam uses his own subcontractors so there was somebody working on the project every day. Sam stopped by our house to check on everything almost every day. This is a Master bathroom so everything in the Master bedroom was protected with plastic as were the carpet wherever they would be walking. If we needed help with color choices, placement of shower heads and other bathroom items they have done so many bathrooms that they were very helpful. Price was one of the lowest but keep in mind a major remodel is expensive. My advice, pick a bid that works for your budget, with a contractor who is knowledgeable, that uses his own subcontractors and is easy to work with. One day I hope to do a kitchen remodel, also 1970s, and I would use Sam again."

"I hate being condescended to. Listen to what I want and then give suggestions on how I might be able to work that out in my kitchen. Don't just tell me it can't be done. I felt like I was wasting my time. I asked about a particular type of closet (not realizing it was part of a bigger cabinet...how would I know) and she told me to follow her (using her finger to me like a child) and said I couldn't have it because it was as part of a bigger piece. She could have just said that. I said if I can't make my kitchen more "usable" (less wasted space), WHY to with custom cabinets. I could just reface. The woman behind me who was waiting to ask her a question said. Listen, if you can't get what you want, I don't blame you for not spending the money. It's easy to reface. So, I called another company and, low and behold, I'm getting partial refacing and partial custom cabinets. He came and we discussed HOW I could get my carousel cabinet (uh - he suggested I go from a double to a single sink - easy peasy) AND, he came in at half the price your website suggested I might pay. It is really nice to be listened to...especially when it's MY money I'm spending."
