Here at Mike's Dyer Vent we clean more than most companies at a fraction of the price. No gimmick's, hidden fee's, no service call charge or contracts to sign. We clean the lint chamber, inside the dryer, on the old style dryer's we take the front panel off, take out the drum ''in most cases'' vaccum blow out the motor wipe everything down replace drum and front panel. If your dryer has a rear panel that comes off we take that and the lint chamber outside wash them down and vaccum the rear of dryer and reinstall lint chamber and rear panel. We wipe down both machines all hose's, wires, electrical outlets, and clean the floor too.We inspect your hose if it is 1 of 6 illegal hoses we automatically replace it at no charge. We go on your roof ''if it vents there'' pop the cap clean the cap and power brush the pipe, clean the roof, rerivet the cap and do a roof inspection. If there is a problem with the piping in the attic as for instance pipe section is missing or has fallen down we do go in the attic and refit the pipe or install a new pipe at no extra charge. We are usually in your home about 1 1/2 hours and cost is 49.00. Deal direct with owner Mike. I do all the work myself and never farm out any work. If for any reason we cannot do the job for what ever reason there is no service call charge. We accept check or cash. All our work is 100% guarenteed and insured by State Farm. We service from Arlington to Gold Canyon down to Maricopa New River to South Phoenix.

"Mike showed up at the time agreed upon. I had hired Mike to clean both my rentals prior to this time. He had done a GREAT job. I hired him again to do one rental (sold the other). He left a mess behind the dryer and didn't clean inside the dryer. I don't know if he even cleaned the exit pipe. My tenants decided to tell me this after I paid him. I would highly advise don't go with him. Mike you owe me the money I paid for you doing nothing!!!!"

Within our company, we have more than 35 years experience in the roofing industry, working with all different kinds of roofing materials. It’s that experience that you can count on to provide you with a leak-free roof! From the smallest of roofing repairs to the largest of complete re-roofs, new construction, residential or commercial roofing, make Legacy Roofing your first call!

"My experience with Legacy and Frank in particular, was simply amazing. They went above and beyond. Their generosity, kindness, attention to detail and responsiveness is simply rare. A few examples: 1. Fully tarping my old roof before bad weather came in while waiting for my roofing materials to come in. This was done without even asking! 2. Taking some bags of trash for us since they were removing the old roof anyway. Offering to do something so simple really made an impact on me. 3. Working with a painter, stucco repair and general contractor to be sure our project was finished perfectly. 4. Making suggestions we never thought of to make our home more beautiful and then helping me locate the ornamental items unrelated to the roof. 5. Always answering my calls and concerns with patience and kindness, never making me feel stupid. This is a big one. I was respected and I appreciate that."

We are a general contractor with the owners on site and hands on with our workers. Most work is done in house. Our subcontractors have been doing business with us for over a decade. Most small projects do not require a deposit, we simply ask for a check after your job is complete, you are happy and we are on the way out the door. Larger projects require payments defined prior to start of work. The most important things we believe makes a successful project is not only doing a quality job, but to always leave you at the financial advantage for peace of mind.

"We absolutely loved working with Chris- HR Contracting LLC. From the very beginning and throughout our projects my husband and I were so impressed by Chris’ professionalism, his organizational skills, and his integrity. He is the best contractor we have ever worked with. Chris transformed our tiny master bathroom into a showstopper. This project required someone who has a lot of creativity and the ability to think outside the box and boy did Chris deliver- he is a rock star. Chris takes great pride in his work, as he should, and treats your house and your project as if it was his own home. His tile and glass subcontractors were also very professional and committed to the highest quality of work. This was the best remodel experience we have had and that is due to Chris. He is just a a pleasure to work with. If you can get him to take on your remodel project you will not regret it. We feel so very fortunate that Chris was willing to take on our project. He is the best!"

Chimney Caps questions, answered by experts

How long it takes to replace a roof can vary, but most roof replacements take anywhere from one to 12 days . The crew size, roof size, and complexity can affect the cost of your project, especially if your roofing contractor charges by the hour. Metal roofs generally take longer than asphalt shingles, wood, slate, concrete, and tile, averaging between seven and 14 days. This is because metal is more difficult to work with than most other materials, excluding slate and other heavy materials.

You can install a spray foam roof over shingles, but it may compromise the roof’s protective qualities or shorten its lifespan. Before installing a new roof, ask a qualified roofer if your existing roof needs to be removed before installing a spray foam roof so you ensure your home has quality, long-lasting protection.

Roofs last about 20 to 50 years, depending on the material, quality of installation, level of maintenance, and local climate. An asphalt shingle roof tends not to last as long, about 20 years, while a metal, slate, or tile roof may last over 50 years with proper care. Many roofs last an average of 25 years.

Gaps between tiles are necessary to help with weatherproofing, allow for thermal expansion, and increase wind resistance. In general, a small gap no larger than 3 millimeters wide will encourage proper drainage and limit cracking. Beyond that, tiles should overlap a minimum of 3 inches, except at the eaves where they should extend to the center of the gutter.

Flapping shingles, or shingles that are lifting or curling away from your roof, can be glued back into place using roofing cement or sealant. Apply the glue underneath the shingle, then press it down firmly. You can leave a brick on top of the shingle to hold it in place overnight while the sealant dries.
