"Ron and Connie and the team were a dream come true. I had another contractor lay tile and the grout failed. So many contractors told me I needed to tear up the tile and start over. I called Grout Lines and Ron came and gave me an honest professional opinion and an estimate to remove and replace the grout. I couldn't be happier with the work they performed. I liked them so much I had them come back and seal the grout. I have also hired them to clean, seal and polish my granite in the kitchen and bathrooms. I have already recommended Grout Lines to friends and neighbors. I could go on forever telling you how pleased I am with Grout Lines. Excellent work and very honest hard-working people."

"The Martin’s are an incredible family. They were very kind throughout the process and transparent about prices. I had them clean the tile and grout downstairs. I was amazed at how quick they were. They did about 1,250 square feet of tile in an hour. Keep in mind they had to move couches and tables. I’m very happy with them they did a great job!"

"Corbin was the first to respond to my call. He was nice and polite. Did the job right away. Kept me informed of everything. Sent receipts. Excepted a check. Did a fabulous job in matching the grout color to my tile and went beyond and redid some bad areas around my sink areas. He cleaned regrouted, sealed. Iâ ll be calling him to do my floor later on. Thanks Corbin and youâ re welcome for the homemade soaps. Enjoy! Would definitely recommend him to others."

"Rene did an amazing job and gave me options, information and educated me on the different processers available without any pressure. I've had my grout cleaned several times in the past by other companies and didn't notice a difference. My grout definitely looked much cleaner for being 25 years old. I am hiring him to seal the grout in my NEW home before I move in."

Grout Tile Cleaners FAQs, answered by experts

Soot can be harder to remove compared to other types of stains given its acidic nature. It can also cause underlying paint to peel off during the cleaning process. If your soot issue is a result of smoke damage, it’s recommended you call a pro to help remove it versus doing it yourself.

When you deep clean your washing machine, using hot water is the best practice since it’s more effective than cold water at killing various types of bacteria and viruses. Plus, hot water tends to break down soap residue more efficiently.

Before you begin caulking a shower, you’ll need to use a utility knife or solvent to remove the old caulk and inspect the area for mold. If needed, take appropriate steps to get rid of the mold, then wipe everything down with dish soap and warm water before letting it dry completely. Finally, surround the caulking area with two strips of blue painter’s tape—one above the joint where you’re caulking and another below it.

The most sanitary way to mop a floor is with a microfiber mop and two buckets of water: one with cleaning solution and one without. Use the soapy water to mop the floor and rinse the mop in the clean water. When the water gets dirty, pour it out and replace it with new water. This mopping technique ensures the mop stays cleaner and prevents the spread of dirt and bacteria.

Caulk and grout are two different materials with different purposes and should not be used interchangeably. Grout is used to fill the gaps between tiles; it hardens to keep them sturdy and in place on walls or floors. Caulk, on the other hand, is a flexible, waterproof material used to seal corners, cracks, and edges, such as where a tub meets tile or around windows for weatherproofing. Caulk can also be used to temporarily repair damaged grout.
